Highway in the Gale is commonly used as a sports cheering anthem, in this case reworked as a kind of cheer support for armed forces. This particular Immortal Songs honored heroes in uniform - so, yes, lots of military and first responders in the crowd. They did, in fact, win. It was their 4th win and 6th appearance on IS. And, yes, the stability of their vocals on this one is amazing.

I adore this stage, because while the song itself is not my fav it's great the way they gave each member time to shine and it's vocal heavy (hell yes Yeo starting off the song and Woo with his softer voice getting a part that suits him very well imo). And yes Hwa's part on the table even sparked discussions if it's live at all lol, but besides Immortal Songs being all live stages you can also hear the tiniest bit of compression in his voice when he lands his jump. I have such high respect for idols doing all this while singing and yes it def takes a lot of training and an athletic level of fitness, from Ateez and other groups I know they e.g. sing while on the treadmill and live run throughs in dance practise. (e.g. Ateez members mentioned that when they first joined the dance training they nearly fainted ( apparently San did actually faint) because they weren't used to such an intense cardio workout but over time got used to it)
