That's why Ling and Lan Fan can fight in the dark. If you also remember, all the people from Xing said that they sensed rancid chi when they came to Amestris. I wouldn't be opposed to extra weekly eps with this arc... just saying...

Ed could look older because he's just a teenage boy and they can sprout up really fast. Another reason could be because his brush with death weakened his bond with als soul and his theory on supplying al nutrients could be correct.

My least favorite scene in this entire show is when the chimeras were walking along wondering where scar and marcoh were while they were just sitting there eating. Then marcoh stands up and says they have to get to central immediately and there's no time as if wasn't just sitting down having a meal

Jackson is right. Mustang did it on purpose! A lot of the stuff said/done leading up to this promised day are intentional and you usually don't pick it all up on a first watch

Funnily enough, your conversation at the end about why you think something felt “off” because of the time skip is exactly why I told you guys to watch the actual credits for episode 45 instead of skipping it. You even responded saying that you would, but I guess you forgot or thought it wasn’t important lol. It’s all good though! Basically, it shows everyone’s preparations for the Promised Day and who is with who and where some characters that we haven’t seen are before the time skip that happens in episode 46. It also shows Father meeting with all of the Sins, which would have gave you a better understanding on why Pride and Gluttony went after Alphonse rather than it just feeling random/out of nowhere.

Ed is having trouble coming to grips with the fact that hohenhiem isn't the bad scary person he thought he was. I like that tho, the differences in how him and Al react/treat their father.

Lan fans return is SOOO BADASS and I can't help but smile every time. She can sense gluttony the same way Ling does! They sense the chi or life force of things around them. Homonculi feel like a huge mass of people concentrated in one spot for them

I'm not sure if y'all missed it but I know at one of the end of episode scenes "Father" birthed a new gluttony. When he got injured and reabsorbed he said he'd bring him back with all his memories in tact when the times right

My theory is that since he used his own lifeforce to heal himself that caused him to age a little bit. (There's spoilery stuff that happens at the end that makes me think so)

I think I've seen this too. I personally don't but I see why. I don't think we ever see any other examples of something similar happening. Cause it's not like homonculi use their own lives to heal, it's the souls of the people in the philosopher's stones
