I think its okay to say this about Aleister (the mean NIghts watch leader guy) because its never explicitly expanded upon in the show. But the reason hes at the wall, and the reason hes a dick is because he was on the losing side of the war against the Mad king Aka he fought FOR the mad king. Not everyone in the war died obviously, many men became like Aleister. SO thats why he hates Jon mostly. Son of the man (Ned) who whooped his ass in war.

The reason the swords are gone from around the throne, the way they were on House of the Dragon is that this show came first. So the throne you are seeing on this show is the one that was developed for this show. But the author of the books had an artist create a throne like he imagined long before it was the television series. It is an incredible monstrosity, and you can look up pictures of it online. But it was totally impractical to make for television. Fans of the books were always a bit disappointed with this version of the throne. So when they made House of the Dragon, the show creators wanted to make something a little more accurate to the actual Iron Throne of the books. The one on House of the Dragon is still nothing like the author’s version of the Iron Throne. But it is a bit closer. The version of the Iron Throne created for this show did become quite iconic when this show was originally airing.

jack even if you say you're trying to guess bc you don't remember what is gonna happen next, its most likely you're actually trying to remember and spoiling bc you already watched the show before. like you did just now with saying the mountain will kill that guy in the tournament. You're not trying to guess, you're just trying to remember. be more aware of it or you'll ruin your friends experience of GOT especially for important episodes where they should not see twists coming

I always thought they should have added this detail to the show. Alliser Thorne is still a terrible person. But at least it would have given some context for his character. And it only would have taken one line of dialogue to do so.

Jack did behave way better here than in the first reaction, props to that. He just needs to stop calling things sus and making predictions as if he didn't already know what's going to happen. It's basically a spoiler even if he doesn't 100% confirm it.

I agreed with the constructive critisism on ep 1 but he has gotten way better and you can tell he tries. the reasons why HoTD is quick pace is because 1 it’s written like a historic book 2 they already built up the world and houses in GoT 3 there are less characters than in GoT as they mainly focus on the targaryens in their prime. i feel like it’s gonna hit more home harder for you guys with these characters if they die than in HoTD and this show wayyyyy more unpredictable than HoTD . but FR you guys need to bump up the episodes if you want to finnish it b4 HotD season 2 because you guys are already comparing the episodes and your not even watching it at the same time

People acting like saying, "stop spoiling" is somehow too mean, like I just threatened his life or something. And then you have people saying that he didn't spoil anything. Are you guys watching the same thing I am? Spoiled Mountain vs Hugh, and Cat making a play against Tyrion. Are those huge spoilers? No, but they are spoilers nonetheless, and you can even see Cannon and Carter getting annoyed by it. We're all here to see first time reactions. There are plenty of ways to contribute to the experience without spoiling or excessively hinting. Wow so much drama in the comment section. My opinion is honestly suck it up, you are paying to watch their reactions, not paying to direct what they do and order them around. Hi Jack… I just wanted to apologize as well. I was definitely one of the many people that had things to say about this situation. I know you’re trying your best which is why my original comment was supposed to be respectful. I did get heated in an argument with someone else and I’m sure you saw our exchanges which were more hurtful than I intended them to be. My intention isn’t to hurt you or make you feel bad. I think what I didn’t realize at the time is that some of your comments, though they’re small in hindsight, also add a layer to the plot and I think I had a hard time grasping the fact that the guys who haven’t watched the show are not really going to know the difference. I was frustrated just as many others were but only because we’ve seen the show. Tbh I think even reacting to your comments in reality add more attention to certain details and can actually in turn spoil something for the guys that they wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. I've been watching GOT recently and rewatching the episodes to see your reaction...however I don't think Jack spoil anything tbh, and it's getting too far....I believe people can share their opinion without being disrespectful and rude but what I see in the comments is beyond awful.
