It was mentioned that Varys is a eunuch which means that "everything" was cut off, as he mentioned his childhood mutilation. A lot of the jokes that people make are at the expense of eunuchs, such as the Maester saying that poison is a eunuchs weapon-talking about Varys-and Littlefinger makes fun of him saying that the first boy is on the house if he visits his brothel (Varys doesn't have sex with little boys FYI)

I love this episode. So much happens but it flows really well. Cat took Tyrion because she was told by basically her adopted brother(Littlefinger) that the knife used to try and kill her son was Tyrion’s. She took him to her sister because she’s closer than Winterfell and her castle is impregnable. Second half of the season is when things really get going can’t wait to see you experience it.

I haven't watched it yet so idk if Jack mentioned it or even knew, but in the books Ned did not put up as much of a fight against Jamie as he does in the show. In the books it was quite clear that Jamie is many levels above Ned, but here they decided to make it look more even than it actually is. I get why they would want it with Ned being the MC and fan favorite, but I feel it does really negatively impact how insanely skilled Jamie is at fighting

I'd say for me he is at this point he's 3rd for me, 2nd depending on if we are talking strictly show or books as well. But thats if it's counting only alive people at this point in the story. I can kind of assume who you would put above Jamie, and if my assumption is correct than I do agree! But yes, Ned even at his best when he was younger was still nowhere near top 5, but hey, shows have to have some good action so I can't blame them TOO much for this, just wish it wasn't against Jamie cause I've seen so many show only watchers consider Ned to be a top tier fighter

The thing about Ned (that is 50% headcanon and 50% canon) is that he's really good in the field of warring combat which places him top 10 for me. He's got a lot of experience in surviving these large scale battles which is a feat in itself. I feel like there's some distinction between a duel and open war. Those I have above Jamie and Robert are well versed in both.

This isn't a spoiler but rather something that was mishandled in the show in comparison to source material(books). But Ned doesn't have a drop on Jaime as a fighter. Jaime is the greatest swordsman of his time, Ned is just decent at fighting. This fight would not be that competitive:D
