Don't forget, the last bunch of episodes have all taken place on the same night, Bradley was walking back from the explosion, it probably took a good while, Amestris is an actual country and he was in the East

The Freezing Alchemist from the first episode isn't canon to the manga. They just invented him for a cool first episode. Because they skipped over things like Youswell mine, it served as a way for us to get to know Ed and Al, but you can kind of just forget about the events of the first episode. But he was against Bradley and the rest. Somehow he learned there was some sinister plot (maybe killing innocents, maybe the immortal legion, we don't really know), and turned against them. He was never really a threat to Father's plan though, it would just have been an inconvenience to replace the generals with more people obsessed with immortality that he can manipulate into slaughtering innocents for the circle. Xerxes was destroyed about 400 years before the show takes place. The show takes place in 1914/1915 in an alternate world, which is more important for FMA than it is for FMA:B. As for why Hohenheim left Trisha, Ed, and Al, it hasn't been revealed yet, just that he had to finish something.

Would Hohenheim even be able to keep his own individuality and sense of self intact while living and simultaneously almost drowning in an ocean of wailing, screaming voices? This notion wasnt explored in the show, but if anyone ever played FFVII, the main antagonist (Sephiroth) in that story somehow managed to stay himself within the overwhelming river that is the Lifestream... it is a similar concept. From a psychological standpoint, it is interesting to think about Hohenheim as a character - did he "abandon" his own family, or did "he" even exist as a singular individual while simultaneously containing tens of thousands of people in himself? Maybe all of those people talk to him, telling him stuff, asking him to do this or that, giving him their opinion of every little insignificant thing every single day. Would be enough to change a person, if not drive them completely bat shit crazy.

I've bought it though, so hopefully any day now they'll restock and send me mine), and I'd say its worth the fullmetal edition. There are concept art sketches in the back of each volume. Plus, hardback is great. I also have the 20th anniversary edition, and the artbook lol

Since the Dune book was split into two movies, the first part is buildup and the second part delivers on it. I read the book a long time ago and never saw 1 so can’t comment in detail on it, but 2 was great in terms of pacing, conflict, character developments, mysteries revealed, fights, etc. Also since I didn’t even watch the first one and felt invested the whole way through, it probably shows how good the movie is lol. Definitely didn’t feel like a 3 hour movie for me

This was me when I first saw part 1 in the theaters. I was so lost. But I still went to watch Part 2 and it was amazing. It actually made me go back and rewatch part 1 because I understood the story better after seeing part 2. You really appreciate how good the first movie is once you're able to understand the world the story takes place in. Part 2 turned me into a Dune head for real lol. I've seen it 3 times already and have started to read the books.

yeah i cant lie when you guys fjrst started posting GOT reactions on youtube i was impressed by the pace at which you put them out. you all cant help it that your schedules got busy at pretty much the same time that youre getting a lot more patrons for GOT reactions, thats life. even tho i dont watch any of ur anime shows i can see how much content you guys record and upload to be putting stuff out pretty much everyday !! i know of other patreons that post 2 episodes of a show a week but charge a lot more for their subscription.

As for the time of the uploads - honestly, time zones - for some people it’s bound to be released in a weird hour of the day. For me it’s early morning which is perfect.

I’ll say this, just for the record in case you guys aren’t aware because you’re too close to your own business.. I am a very new patron. you guys are running a GREAT channel for youtube, not so much for patrons. only one week ahead and the videos barely go up on time. Should he like $3 tbh, however, I do recognize you guys are busy with school and you will soon be going full time. Hope fully you can at least make it two weeks ahead. Would be more fair for the amount people pay. I currently don’t feel like it is worth paying for what I am seeing.

This is a problem that we are going to keep having, which is people who are only here for GOT/HOTD and then people who are here for everything or just anime. Just because your favorite show isnt getting uploaded as much as you’d like doesnt mean they are doing a bad job as a patreon channel. We are 20 naruto episodes ahead of the youtube, and not a single fmab episode has been uploaded to youtube. You are also still getting consistent GOT uploads every week. Everybody in this channel knows that GOT brought a lot of viewers to the patreon and YouTube, but that doesnt warrant special treatment. Im not trying to bash you or anything like that, but this is just a common thing thats been going on for a little and people just can’t leave it alone

@Luke Ruthruff You do realise you're commenting about it taking 30 weeks, on a series that has been ongoing for months? FMA:B fans get about 2 a week, and have since, September. And you guys can get it for free on YouTube (albeit edited and a few weeks behind), while we dont even have episode 1 edited for free, despite them reacting to that 6+ months ago. Plus GoT episodes are twice, sometimes up to three or four times, the length of a single FMA:B episode. At 2 a week, you're literally getting more than twice the content. Like, calm down. You'll get your episodes when you get them

I mean like I’ve said in previous comments we’re doing our best for now, when we’re full time could be different, which seems to be a faster pace than most channels I’m aware of, and uncut and unedited episodes are a big factor of our Patreon as well

Personally I think the amount studio gek uploads is totally reasonable for the price. I just wish there were fewer shows on the go at once. It seems like every fan base is upset that their show comes up once a week and then they have to wait another week, this is especially true for the longer shows that will take months to complete. Also I think it would be a good idea to space GOT uploads further apart during the week rather than both at once so it doesn’t feel like a week wait each time (I know you could just watch on different days yourself but when both eps drop at one time Ik for fact I am not waiting lol). Just my opinion, but love the content regardless and keep up the good work!

With the exception of Episode 52, I don't think I've seen a single person asking about an FMA:B upload, except for a few weeks back when they didn't post it until like, 5 days after they normally did. But GoT fans are on every video, asking for more. Expecting them to drop other shows and only watch the one they want them to watch. Actually dude, another reason to go for the Fullmetal edition is the translation. The original translation has spellings like "Cselksess" for Xerxes, "Ishbal" for Ishval, and things like that, and some names are different (I think its Mei Chang, not May). While Fullmetal is much closer to the Anime with translations. So you'll never have to read "Cselksess"

I’m here for GoT yes, but im witnessing extremely late last minute uploads for mostly everything. and the more than a week ahead would apply for everything as well, not just GoT. Gek does well with the amount they give per week, but that isn’t the only factor. its all a package that should all be held to a certain standard

For upload times, honestly they’re fine the way they are now, because if they aren’t getting uploaded at 12 am they’ll just get uploaded in the morning anyway, so there’s basically no difference to me there. If you decide to watch an upload at 1 am thats your decision, but personally it makes no difference to me. I think of it as getting the uploads 8 hours early instead of in the morning, And as far as the being ahead of YouTube goes, you would feel a lot more ahead if both shows i mentioned (naruto and fmab) got uploaded more on youtube. If they did that you wouldn’t feel like you’re right where YouTube is, which is only because they decided to upload GOT before those other two shows, if that makes any sense. If those shows got uploaded youtube would probably still be on season 1 of GOT

Exactly, at the end of the day it’s just reaction videos to shows we’ve already seen it really isn’t that serious. They’ve been extremely consistent and are one of the most interactive channels in regards to responding to comments and patrons as well as their discord so I don’t know what the problem is.

They have their own lives and other priorities to focus on; they already said once school is done for the semester, uploads would be quicker. I actually have the 10$ tier, which was because of HOTD, and now GOT.However, I try to watch all the content to get my money's worth. Now, do I like every show they watch? No. Is that their problem? No. I pay for their patreon because I enjoy their reactions. If anyone here has an issue with that, nobody is forcing you to keep paying. lol.

If you care for any actual constructive criticism, honestly just a heads up on whether there’s gonna be an upload for that day is enough to quell a lot of the uproar, obviously people are gonna be itching for their specific show, but having to refresh the Patreon page till 3am to know if there’s a drop does get a little annoying. Or if a drop that was said to happen isn’t going to happen or the amount of episodes is gonna be short for any given drop so you don’t sit there refreshing for the next one. As of right now most people have to scour the comments hoping for a comment from the gek account with info on the next upload and often it ends up being unfulfilled (time of upload or quantity of episodes uploaded)

I agree, but Shippuden is truly an exception. I haven’t seen GOT so I can’t speak on that. But for me, compared to aot, Shippuden’s emotional depth, thematic variety, and moral interconnections are far superior. At a fundamental level Shippuden is a tale of love. Then, restoring love, a universally noble endeavor, is intertwined with themes of international conflict and war. Is it right to love our companions, and to strive to create a better world on the basis of that universal peace? Is that level of foresight a mere delusion, a sheer impossibility, or is it a goal worth fighting for, even if it means fighting alone?

Fair enough but for me Shippuden is always going to be the one. Like I said I haven’t seen got but at least compared to aot, the origin of the Ninja world and the cycles of conflict in the generations afterwards over what it means to “love” is beautiful. You could even argue that shinobi were born out of a difference in the primitive understanding of what love was, and yet it is that love that exists as the source of both peace and war. Love is the foundational force, as well as the continuous entity that spurs action both “good” and “bad”.

I have seen a lot of crazy ass comments on Patreon but the comments on here are really wild. Reminds me of RT TV fans lol. I hope the boys are able to laugh about it. A lot of it is just trolls. I think you guys put out a fair amount of content. Even for people like me who aren't into anime and only watch for HOTD/GOT, 2 episodes a week is fair. If they have time to watch more that's great but people they do have lives and I'm sure with 5 people its harder to schedule time. Just enjoy the content.

@AA y'all always use the same take when someone doesn't share the same opinion as you. I've been watching anime since I was like 6. Shippuden is overhyped. I didn't cry or care not once while watching. I hate majority of the characters. I'll always have respect for it being and OG. But the show isn't good. Waaaaay too much filler. Hands barely thrown. More talking than fighting AoT is waaay better to me. I cried when characters died and went through something and it didn't draw out anything. AoT is way more emotional to me because they had no choice to fight and become monsters.When the female titan slaughtered the cadets I would rage. AoT bought out anger, sadness, and hope in me. I care about all the characters. I can understand the actions of all the characters
