Melizé

YESSSSSSSS

Regina wibert

lola

OHHHHHH IM ABOUT TO SCREAM

Shadow

Postive vibes🙏🏻

Shadow

Gojo would definitely be a Targaryen

Ana

Thank you so much for this early drop. 🙏🏾Couldn't stay up tonight

Brittany (Ultraanimegirl4)

Loll I saw the notification expecting Haikyuu because they are edging us with it BUT I am also heckin down for this 😁

Shadow

Cannon with a great Noah Lyles prediction

leah

W

Teej

Let's goooo boys!

Tyler Sick

No one spoil Hodor becoming king of the Andals

Bri-Ana Monique

Hoping the comment section is full of W’s today 😂🫶🏽

Nomaan

The Prince That Was Promised talk… Lord Jesus help us😭the big divide in the fandom😭

emma.bean

💕💕💕

Shadow

Yup😔 And the only one that really knows the full details is Grrm himself. All the sweet summer children just need to get along. Both are gonna play a part Those 2 “standoms” at odds with each other is so detrimental to the discourse for the show, books, and actual prophecies. Both just vehemently avoid the others evidence lol

Nomaan

Yep. So we can each have our own opinions but we might never know 😭

Grim Reaper

Code Geass coming later today?

Jaqen H'ghar

Holy shit, on this rewatch I realized that Old Nan's son is Hodor!!! I never realized that was Old Nan!!

bateman bookworm

lmao cannon, not the 200m comparison, you’re lucky you weren’t accurate 😭😭

Fatipapi

Damn these different timezones 😭 right as im heading to bed again 🥲 got something to look forward to tomorrow tho ♥️

R

we love studio gek

Caraxes🐐DT

No beric is dead in the book…he gave his own life to bring cat back but she does take over his men basically replacing him so she’s running around with thoros. Something else in the book you might not know but before he died robb legitimized Jon and named him the next heir to winterfell because he thought bran and Rickon died. Only cat is alive who knows about it tho and Jon currently still dead in the books.

Ray

Exactly Carter, what are you doing? Lmao 💀

Jaqen H'ghar

Brig, they probably didn't attack Jaime or arrest because they do not believe in spilling blood in a holy place. There was also a funeral going on. They're supposed to be representatives of holiness, so they do have to demonstrate some piety despite their rat behavior.

Shadow

Euron’s book to show adaptation is one of my biggest complaints in the later seasons. Book Euron just built different. and they didn’t even bring in his brother either😔

Agent September 🏴‍☠️

I feel like Roose was kind of proud of Ramsay, like obviously he would've preferred not to die, but I totally feel like roose would be the machiavellian type to murder his father so how could he expect anything different from his son

Shadow

Book Jon has been dead for over 13 years now. Somebody(grrm) save my boy plz

Mitch

Bran stuff is prob the highlight of the season for me, super well written you could tell GRRM had his influence there

Meri Gjelaj

Does anyone know their GOT posting schedule?

Caraxes🐐DT

Save my boy! Lmfao I really love the theory that he’s inside ghost for the moment until he’s back in his body tho lol. Lot of people don’t know all of them was wargs in the books and people think robb died twice when he was stabbed then warged into his wolf before ultimately dying again in him smh…fucked me up when I heard that

EtherealLlama

People at the time really did cheer and lose their minds at this. We were in uncharted territory pretty much so no one knew what to expect, just theories and copium. The hype was so real

Roy Koopa

The guys are definitely directed by their surrounding cultural knowledge of the show and the comments. Not their fault, nothing they can do about it, but it’s definitely influencing their vision of the show. The thing about Melisandre - I think it is a bit of a give away that she shows up at the wall. But the show did earlier limit the res magic. They made it really clear earlier that she is not able to do that, only Thoros of Myr. So it should be surprising that she’s able to do it.

Roy Koopa

Oh, it’s terrible. Euron’s such a cool character in the books.

Shadow

The bran stuff this season tickles any ASOIAF fan. Could rewatch it anytime. Felt very Grrm

Ana

Show Euron was such a joke. Like a Mickey Mouse villain. Like it was right there in the book for them. How could they mess up one of the coolest characters in the books.

Shadow

I loveee it and I don’t even think it’s a theory to be fr😂 I feel like it’s pretty much obvious that he’s inside ghost rn. I could write a long ah comment with all the evidence💀 The Robb stuff is just a precursor(and yea hella heartbreaking). Stark warg stuff is some of my fav in the series.

Shadow

It’s been too long without winds. The fandom has gone insane😂

Caraxes🐐DT

Made a mistake and deleted smh but yea lot of people hate evidence in this fandom for some reason they will still argue you up and down about something not being true lol like something that’s soon coming up but we will talk about that when it happens.

Shadow

He woulda been the coolest “bad guy” in the whole show. Grrm cooked. Justice for the Greyjoys

Niffol

You guys keep dancing around a fun thing from the books. Wargs can live a "Second Life" in their bonded beast if they warg and die while warging. All the Stark Children barring sansa(so far) have shown instances/signs of warging. There are theories about robb warging into Grey Wind. And a theory that in the books jon is in ghost and when mel brings him back he will then come back from ghost and be a little more "feral". Martin's magic always has a cost. In the books Beric never comes back whole. Not just his body, but his mind as well.

Ana

This look for 3 eyed raven was not a good choice. They made him look too basic

Shadow

I would say the tv show even kinda showed the second life when Jon got attacked by the eagle right after killing that one wildling warg. And yea I think Jon will come back with more “wolfs blood”(Maybe even some wolf soul itself). More hot tempered like past Starks.

Amna 🍉

"jon is the prince that was promised" I know show watchers are convinced jon is the prince that was promised/azor ahai but Dany literally fulfilled the prophecy in the end of the first book. "When the red star bleeds and the darkness gathers, Azor Ahai shall be born again amidst smoke and salt to wake dragons out of stone." But then the writers of the show kind of forgot all about this soooo

Ana

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday I think

Ana

It sucks when you think about Qyburn being on Cersei side when Talisa and Robb saved him 😩

Amna 🍉

GIVE ME EPISODE 4 RIGHT NOOOW

Legendarygamer

wdym how did he come back(Jon) she just did magic in the episode and we know people of her faith resurrect people, isn't it logical to think that's the reason or did I miss something?

Amna 🍉

technically, the rule is something is suppose to be sacrificed to bring back a life. Ex: Beric sacrifices a part of him whenever he's brought back to life, he said he doesn't remember what he was originally like, and then he later sacrifices himself to bring Catelyn Stark back to life. Catelyn Stark came back as someone extremely vengeful with no remorse. Resurrection is suppose to change you. I think in the books, Jon will be very different when he comes back to life. The show writers seemed to have forgotten about this

Amna 🍉

annnnnd this is exactly why Catelyn Stark's resurrection was important to the story. We get so much info through her resurrection

Vladimyr Blue

Is this season where the show catches up with the books?

Jada

The audio is sounding so much better now

jblakk

Omg lmfao... somehow Cannon jinxed Noah Lyles.

GreetswithJudgement

Cannon is so adorable! I can’t with him! Hugging his pillow!

Amna 🍉

No i think it was the end of the last season. Season 5 is a mix of book and new stuff.

lola

That was last season… this season is a rough draft of GRRM’s next book in the series.

lola

The look is basic but i prefer this actor.

lola

Ngl talking over Jon’s resurrection is wild… 💀

Shadow

A very rough one😂 they kept a few points and said bye bye peepaw we’ll handle it

lola

So, Jon’s resurrection was very much up in the air for the majority of people (myself included) because Jon is very much still dead in the books. No one really knew what would happen. Yes, the assumption was that Melisandre could bring him back but since we were in uncharted territory there was also a possibility that GRRM would have suggested that the producers not bring Jon back if he didn’t have a further job within the books. Jon’s job in the books could have just been to get the wildings on the other side of the wall and that’s it (which could be seen as unlikely since Jon is a POV character within the books but so was cat so 🫠). Obviously, GRRM still had some involvement with the show and Jon being alive in S6 must be crucial for the next book. GRRM gave the producers notes about what would transpire in the coming seasons and so here we are. A lot of us had hope he would come back but it was just as possible that he wouldn’t.

Rayanh LaNansha

Everytime I find out something new, I just think to myself "gotta read those books."

Amna 🍉

I also read the books after watching the show and the amount of things the writer erased, changed, simplified and forgot was CRAAAAAZY

The night is Dank and full of Memers

When Cersei asked Qyburn if his process would weaken the mountain. Qyburns shit eating grin "Oh no." You are seeing the strength on display now!

Euphemia Isobel

Melisandre has visions, but they are easy to misinterpret. The Lord of Light is almost surely a real entity, there's too many occurrences to not think so

Shadow

When watching I thought he was gonna come back but i was just coping cuz I couldn’t handle another stark death😂 but I wouldn’t say they had a lot of notes to work with tho. There’s only 3 known points given to d&d thats post books and it’s known they distanced themselves from grrm. I’m sure they had other little nuggets from the years of working with him but grrm isn’t a big “note” guy at allllll. Both sides played their part tho. Between not finishing books or pushing the book creator out. Wrapping this story with this cast was gonna be hard.

lola

Yeah that’s fair… I edited it cause although he did give them major key points on certain characters, the journey to the end is going to be completely different.

Icchi

Ramsey really an S tier villian 💀

Anna

In the books the nights watch are crying when they stab Jon and it says his wounds smoke when the knife is pulled out, and someone’s heraldry is over head and it’s described as bloody and star laden so there is a lot of evidence for both tbh

Kim555

Wtf man my notifications haven’t been working for patreon nor email for yall uploads 😭😭 so happy I saw this by checking

Anna

“It’s beautiful beneath the sea but if you stay too long you will drown” has always been one of my favorite quotes from the series

Anna

I’m still mad at him for casually saying he once tossed a dragon egg overboard bc he was “in a mood” 😭🤣

Shadow

Yup🫡 and hopefully we get to see the full conclusion. 1 of those points given was that Shireen would be burned. Now obviously u can go a lot of different directions with only having that. It wasn’t till after he even confirmed it would be Stannis. Which he could change while writing winds. Grrm doesn’t even use an outline. A lot of the plot points aren’t formed until he is in the midst of writing and veryyyy subject to change

Anna

Kit Harrington said in an interview he was pulled over before this aired and the cop asked him if he was alive and they looked at each other like 👁️👄👁️ bc obviously he was under contract not to say anything but he said yes and got out of the ticket 🤣🤣🤣

1999

“I prefer being an only child”😂😂😂 Carter’s goat is cooking

Shadow

He’s so out of pocket😂 him and Victarion are comedy

Ryan Ry

Geks “For sure Jon’s coming back to life”. ::Jon comes back to life:: Geks “OMG that’s so shocking 😐😐😐”

jblakk

To answer yalls question about how people thought of Jons ressurection in real time compared to yalls reaction has a few nuances. 1. The books ENDED on Jons death. So everything coming up basically is treading new territory. 2. That means book readers and show fans both had no clue if Jon would be revived. 3. Jon Snow is an iconic character now, but for us culture of GoT was still being built, so our expectations vs yalls are different. Yall had the benefit of knowing Jon is an iconic character so this couldnt be how his story ended. But for us, there was no cultural zeitgeist to help influence our expectations in tiny ways. 4. That being said, yeah most people did a crazy cheer. (some people wanted him to stay dead, but thats the things about opinions. Everyone has them) 5. OH and the season 6 trailers did an AMAZING job of hiding jon in the trailer. So there was factions and doomers vs copers on if hed be alive or not. Marketing did their job to convince you Jon was dead.

jblakk

Yeah they for sure went for acting over looks throughout the entire seires. HOTD did a better job of the visual aspect of casting, despite its criticisms and scrutiny.

Joe Mama

I definitely agree. Which is why it upsets me they left him out all of last season.Like the boys mentioned it was so jarring seeing him age up THAT much the first time watching.

Caraxes🐐DT

Don’t think hodor her kid she was just telling ned he was a stable boy so he shouldn’t play with swords.

Joe Mama

The coolest part of Euron was in this ep. talking about being the drowned god and talking about his crew on the silence.

Caraxes🐐DT

Well not really true George definitely told them big things that’s coming in the books like Jon coming back is obviously one of them.

Caraxes🐐DT

Dany being the prince that was promised is not confirmed either tho lol both got evidence backing them not just dany so some book readers love giving the nod to dany just like some show fans towards Jon lol

Jaqen H'ghar

Ah, bummer. I just rewatched and I def got the motherly vibes, but you're right- They don't confirm relations. I guess I was just shocked that it was Old Nan, I just thought it was some NPC before rewatching today lol.

Joe Mama

Tyrion letting out Viserion and Rhaegal after telling them of his love for dragons as a young child >>>

Ana

I for sure knew Jon was coming back. I was heavy into theories when GoT was coming out. I feel a lot of book fandom knew this was gonna happen. Especially when Melisandre was there

Joe Mama

And the fact that Ser Alliser wasn’t even there to stab Jon. I go back and forth on if book Thorne would do it or not.

Caraxes🐐DT

I mean in the books yes but no hints of the kids being wargs in the show at all tbh other than bran and Rickon which was a dumb choice but maybe they wanted bran to be special

Shadow

And there's the discussion about AA/AAR - PtwP - Last Hero(there’s more). if they're the same thing/person. Maybe just from different cultural views. In addition to what Anna said Jon also has dreams of a flaming sword, and Mel only ever sees “Snow” when looking for AA. Dany has a few pieces of blatant prophecy markers like amna said and u can’t really argue against them. But we do NOT know the full truth and Grrm doesn’t want us to. Both will be the keys to the long knight in the books

jblakk

Caraxes DT.... I never said George didnt tell them tho.. i just said book readers didnt know...which was true. Treading new territory is still treading new territory if GRRM didnt write it. And I say this as a person who thinks the books will end similarily to the show despite its controversies. For better or for worse. And Ana, you didnt "know", you theorised. I did too. I had to leave out that part of the equation to the Geks for obvious reasons...

brog.

theon is such a good character. "gods help you theon greyjoy. now you are truly lost."

Ana

@Jblakk wdym? You left that out? Is my comment spoilery?

Slizzle

I mean the actual prince hasn’t yet been revealed in the books either so its not like you are right and they are wrong, we literally don’t know who it is, except people wanting it to be who they want it to be

Leo

One interviewer asked him "how did you killed you killed Jon snow?" His reply is "did he?"

Ana

Ugh I hate Ramsey so much. Poor Walda and the baby. They didn't deserve that

Random Random

Season 6 is a mix of published book stuff, unreleased chapters from Winds, outlines and notes from George, remixed material (show characters receiving plots from book characters), and original material from the showrunners. It’s a misconception that season 6 is all original non-book material.

Leo

I never noticed jon told the same thing to olly as ned told to benjen when they were children at training(keep your shield up or I will ring your head like a bell).

Icchi

Good point, maybe that’s something Ned used to say to him as well

Nicole

I saw Jon coming back but I still cheered happily. I’m not sure who said that Jon wasn’t what he was now but to me he was always the GOAT.

Ana

Great reaction. And yeah to me it was obvious Jon was coming back. Everything Carter said is how I felt. Like Melisandre was right there. We've already seen lord of light bring Beric back. Jon is also one of the main characters in the books and show

Ana

They cant bring Robb back because the Freys cut his head off and mutilated his body. Remember Arya asked Beric could it bring a man with no head back talking about Ned and they told her no. Catelynn's neck was just sliced and they threw her body in the river. And that is how the brotherhood found her. Beric also gave her his life. So it was more to it

Griff

“Just like that” what!? lol. It was a 10 minute build up haha

Shadow

Old Nan is hodor’s great grandma so motherly vibes would make sense

Seth Aasland

“Hodor.” Truer words have never been spoken

Bellaa

“dont call me Jon, call me ghost” 🤣

JuancaMX

I think the red woman stopped believing in herself more than anything, she did a lot of fucked up things in name of the mission she thought that was given, so when her vision of Stannis winning didn't became true all the weight of her sacrifices came down crushing her. She didn't stop believing in the Lord of Light it's more that she lost confidence in her interpretation of his will.

Mitch

God those freakin cock jokes are already getting so old. It’s such a shame.

Ophelia

Carter… when we watched this back in the day OF COURSE we screamed!!! Of course!!! Lmao. This was such an epic moment. Nobody knew for sure whether this was happening or not. And we weren’t able to binge it. All we could do was hope. Watching it week by week.. waiting years… PRAYING he would come back. No comments sections… no spoilers… just watching in real time. Of course we cheered. 😂 it was such an epic moment haha

ssj4rit

Common Ramsay W

GreetswithJudgement

This. It’s also one of the reasons why Spartacus never became my favorite show. Too many cock jokes, too many unnecessary sex scenes and just contrived.

jay

can’t wait for 6x3 🙂‍↔️

TheSauceGuy

AOT SPOILER: the Three-Eyed Raven showing Bran the past reminded me of Zeke and Eren lol.

Jared Long

Varus' look while Tyrion starts walking down the stairs into the dragon pit absolutely sends me

Jared Long

Ramsay isn't a kick the dog villain, he's a feed the dog villain

Sean Carroll

Overall I think this episode is fine, however there are still issues. Bran: nothing wrong with this scene (only in retrospect), however after 2 seasons of dragging bran across the north meera is suddenly all pissed off now??? Did she not know what the purpose of their mission is all along?? Brans storyline is still the most boring in the show alongside Dany. Tyrion: cock jokes again from the wittiest man in the show, he says he drinks and he knows things but Tyrion’s stupidity arc is beginning (look how they massacred my boy). This scene also confirms from greyworm what I said last episode (“we are searching for the men who burned the ships, BUT NOBODY SAW ANYTHING”), again, 10000 soldiers give or take and not one saw the sons of the harpy burn hundreds of ships, braindead writing. The masters of yunkai and astopor have retaken the slavers bay/slave cities and Tyrion changes the subject to talk about dragons…. Why? Tyrion then goes to meet the dragons, the issue with this is last season they burned a random man that Dany brought in but somehow the dragons which should be even more angry from the continued imprisonment and now adding in starvation are apparently not in the mood to burn Tyrion alive??? There is no way that Tyrion could have possibly survived this if the logic was still intact. Also what was the point of relieving them of their chains if he’s just going to keep them locked in still. I also have an issue with the dragons in retrospect from a future episode in season 6 which I will mention then. I genuinely think the Tyrion dragon scene exists because they know the fans would eat it up gleefully without thinking of the logic behind it. There are also people who think Tyrion is part targereyen so this might also create theories from those people. I however don’t see it either of those ways and just think the scene is bad overall. The Arya stuff continues to make no sense, what was the point of the cliffhanger of making her blind if he’s just going to give her her eyes back again after two episodes of living on the street and getting beaten up. Surely it would have been a better intention to have Arya train blind instead of just random beatings on the street. This whole faceless man storyline is just dumb anyway Ramsay: the karstarks found ramsays men who brienne etc killed last episode but didn’t find Sansa and her group? It didn’t look like they moved much, if at all. Considering how important Sansa is to Ramsay/roose, why haven’t they sent more soldiers out to find them. Also if Ramsay knows that Sansa will head to castle black why doesn’t Ramsay send soldiers towards the wall to cut off Sansa before she gets there. Roose Bolton has arguably the most anticlimactic death in the series, what was actually a fairly good and interesting villain gets killed in a way not befitting him (although it is poetic he dies the same way he killed robb), you can even see on the boys reaction that this death didn’t hit them in any way when if it was done properly would have been a major death. Sansa: why are they lighting fires if they only just escaped ramsays men? Why wouldn’t they be more concerned that Ramsay sent more soldiers after them considering Sansa’s importance. At least Theon is shitting himself knowing what the most logical thing that should happen, Theon continues to be a walking talking W. Iron islands: balon Greyjoy death might actually be more anticlimactic then roose Bolton. Also euron being in the show now just brings back cringe memories. Jon snow: nothing wrong with this scene, simply just an obvious resurrection when you consider Melisandre returning at the exact same time so takes away any true excitement. Good to see Jon back though. Only a few bad scenes makes this episode fairly average in my books, favourite scene is either Ramsay killing the baby and walda (don’t care if that sounds fucked up, Ramsay is a top tier villain) or the Sansa and Theon scene 5.5/10 episode

Amanda Reutermo

maybe I'm biased because I'm Swedish, but Max von Sydow is an insanely talented actor and it was incredible to see him show up in GoT as the Three Eyed Raven!

Leo

Wildlings are the most loyal people in GOT

Ana

@Amanda facts. I don't have a problem with the actor just his look. They took his coolness away. But I love costumes and extreme looks. The show really took a lot of that out of it

Ana

I definitely agree with the Tyrion part. Just the Tyrion becoming dumb part

TheSauceGuy

Balon Greyjoy dies much earlier in the books, making Stannis' leech ritual seem more legitimate.

TheSauceGuy

I don't dislike Euron's actor, but his character in the show is one of the biggest letdowns compared to his book counterpart.

Mzuka

No Lyanna is Ned's younger sister. It goes Brandon, Ned, Lyanna, Benjen.

vally

I still remember the feeling waiting a whole year and just HOPING that he would come back. Back then you could only speculate but you could never be too sure because the book/show obviously has no problem with just killing off their characters.

TheSauceGuy

I don't think Melisandre's visions are lies, but I think she can misinterpret them. As for the Lord of Light, we've only seen the magic attributed to him; we haven't seen any evidence of there being a deity behind it.

Leo

I think this is the only season where bran storyline is actually good

TheSauceGuy

Lady Stoneheart could've been such an interesting character in the show lol. I hope we get a remake of GoT if The Winds of Winter ever releases to show these things. I think an animated version that is more faithful to the books would be great.

Bambina

As a non book reader it took me a while to get that you mean Cat and I was imagining the brotherhood being led by a literal cat, like Beric giving his life for a cat

TheSauceGuy

The bleeding star bespoke the end. These are the last days, when the world shall be broken and remade. A new god shall be born from the graves and charnel pits.

Nomaan

Yeah we hear about it earlier on in like season 1… only death can pay for life. So yeah as enjoyable some episodes are in this season, they just completely ignore the lore and logic

TheSauceGuy

@Joe Mama I don't think the mutiny would have happened simply due to Aliser's presence. I feel that he was sent away for a reason

TheSauceGuy

The prophecy could go in many different directions, let's be honest.

Nomaan

Yeah and we all know how the show did their version of this prophecy so we’ll just have to wait for the actual author himself

TheSauceGuy

Bro has a full set of Valyrian steel armor and has those juicy blue lips.

TheSauceGuy

Isn't that just a given, rather than a theory? Isn't he a warg in the books lol? Oh nvm, as I'm typing this you clarified lol.

TheSauceGuy

@Shadow Stark history in general is pretty interesting as they supposedly did a ton of shady things in the past.

Leo

I think except Dany fans everyone agrees with jon as prince that was promised

Sean Carroll

I actually agree, brans story is certainly its most enjoyable this season. I have major issues with brans entire storyline though including season 6 which I can’t discuss until later

Nomaan

For the show maybe cos they completely erased the actual prophecy from the books… that’s my issue is cos y’all love to ignore how Dany fulfilled the prophecy before we even knew about it?

ssj4rit

But you see the cock jokes show this is a grown up and gritty show, it is very necessary

safaricat

To answer Carter's question about the reaction when it first happened. Everyone was very unsure because this is beyond the source material. The last GOT book ended with that scene apparently so there hasn't been any more story so even book people weren't sure. We all had faith he'd comeback but there were so many playing parts we were all glued to our TV. Also since that was a book ending and a season finale ending with him dying EVERYONE was waiting. I think the book readers had been waiting like 5 or 6 years. TV only had to wait like a year so when we the season started it was all hype.

Hannah

The three eyed raven is Brynden Rivers the bastard of King Aegon IV Targaryen he is also known as Lord Bloodraven before King Aegon’s death he legitimised all his bastard children to spite his true born heir out of all the Targaryen’s I find him to be the most interesting he was the OG master of whispers due to having a vast network of spies and was feared because he was a strong warrior and was rumoured to use sorcery he served as hand to 2 kings and eventually was sent to wall for kinslaying he then becomes the lord commander of the nights watch only to go missing there’s no mention of how he becomes fused with the weirwood tree also there are rumours that we will be introduced to a young Bloodraven in the Dunk and Egg show

Nomaan

Same😭 they kinda brush past Dany fulfilling the prophecy and just ignore the actual requirements for it

BloodyBen

How is it possible that they think Jon is the prince that was promised? what is that based on?

Kneegrow

Pls watch the walking dead at some point in time 🙏🏻

Sean Carroll

I meant jaqen is about to give her eyesight back, there wasn’t any real point to her blindness arc

Mike A

The lord of light is all about the prince who is promised, now he just brought back Jon snow. It's not a crazy guess to think it's him lol. Who else right now is a lord of light fav? The other knight was brought back multiple times but he hasn't been seen in a while, would be crazy to think he's the prince that was promised. Jon's a snow but he still has Ned's blood in him and Rob was king of the north. Technically all the starks could considered princes/princesses

Leo

She became no one on this blindness arc

Nomaan

They’re also aware of Lady Stonehesrt in the books where Catelyn is resurrected… and we’ve seen in this season and season 5 the red priests and priestesses saying Daenerys is their saviour sent from the Lord of Light.

I❤️movies&tvshows

It was on one of the late night talk shows. Kit tells that story in such a funny way. When he was stopped by the police for speeding the cop asked him if he was coming back alive on the show. Kit said yes and the cop said On your way Lord Commander. Lol They had to hide Jon filming the show and gave the unrelated cast partial fake scripts so they wouldn’t know he was coming back either.

I❤️movies&tvshows

I was hoping for the rewind. But that’s ok it shows how authentic these guys are. Season 6 is much more fast paced then before. Its a little different then past seasons. It’s probably a good idea to expect the very end of every episode this season to have something important going on.

I❤️movies&tvshows

Most people think Shireens death paid for Jons life. Because Melisandre burned her. Like with Dani’s dragons being born. Only death pays for life. She burns the witch, Drago and the eggs in the fire. Also Melisandre threw 3 leaches with gendrys blood into the fire. Joffrey, Robb, and Baelon Greyjoy. We see Baelons death before Jon wakes up. These are all just theories.

I❤️movies&tvshows

Right. Ryan Condal the showrunner for HOTD just released a statement saying that Insinuating dani is the prince that was promised can not be done. That George has to make that distinction in the books. So actually there is no one who actually knows other than George right now. Everyone is guessing.

Jada

For me and others your take is completely different. As somebody who watched it live yes, we were all shocked. But once the season ended and you had a whole year to think about it you came to the conclusion that he was going to get resurrected by Melisandre. I think (just like Carter thought) it was quite convenient that the red lady showed up hours before Jon got his Julius Caesar moment. So to most viewer although his death was shocking, it was easy to realize he wasn't going to stay dead for long.

redpgps345

you can’t say let’s start the next one knowing you ain’t giving it to us… 👎🏽

I❤️movies&tvshows

The actor playing Euron has been friends with Nikolai who plays Jamie for 20 years before this show. Nikolai got him the job. He has such a creepy look. He was a kindergarten teacher in IRL before this. Lol.

Shpitz

So after watching his interaction with the dragons, you might want to know that one of the more prevalent book theories is that Tyrion is half Targaryen. In the books the mad king was very "fond" of Tywin's wife, making really lewd comments about her during their wedding, as well as taking liberties with her when she returned to court after giving birth to Jaime and Cersei. So the timeline is possible, as well as Tyrion's hair being described as "so blond it's almost white", one of his eyes matching the mad king's, and of course Tywin's disdain and his last words literally being "you are no son of mine". I'm bringing it up here because after the scene with Tyrion and the dragons book readers flooded the zeitgeist with this theory, so this is what everybody knew at that time. Please don't spoil how this turns out from here.

Nomaan

Yeah and I know what ur referring to. And by that logic u wait for S6E5😂

Leo

As per show, jon fits more for that prophecy 🤷

Divayth Fyr

Do you know what's the best cure from religious rats? - Magic and dragonfire.

Renaldo Allard

John is back now the W arc begins ‼️‼️ everything from here on out is the best

Amna 🍉

showing the red comet, dany being reborn amidst salt and smoke, and her waking dragons from stone, when those are all explicitly stated to be parts of the prophecy...it might be a debate but like what other confirmation do you need

Amna 🍉

Taking Young Griff out of the story and simplifying things was such a huge mistake. They had to shift everything.

Ryan Ry

Geks are so funny. They’ve already been spoiled so much and yet they pretend that they still don’t know anything. And yet they’re surprised when things they predicted happen in the show. And then the next minute they blurt out random book spoilers. Then Lord of the Sus @Brig casually says “I just knew he was too hyped to die”. I mean come on. Stop making “predictions” the entire show. 1. They’re not predictions if you’ve seen or know spoilers already. 2. They’re not predictions if you just spout a hundred nonsensical predictions at the wall 3. If you know book spoilers you’re not making predictions.

Ryan Ry

Again, you mistake hatred for something else. I’m literally giving constructive criticism so they can make better content. You’ve seen the improvements they’ve already made all because of my comments right?

Leo

Yeah. Right, right. I agree with whatever you say.

Nomaan

The show butchered everything along with the prophecy. I’d rather take George’s actual work rather than the fan fiction created by the showrunners. But also saying that he fits in the show when he doesn’t do anything required but Dany does? Doesn’t make sense does it

Leo

What did Danny do. I will prove it to you in dany's own words later😂😂 and also you are commenting on patreon where they were reacting to show not books

Anna J

Don't want to spoil any later events, but your main mistake is taking prophecies literally which is proven to be THE BIGGEST and most stupid mistake anyone has made in both books and the show. Also if you zoom out and look at Jon's entire "mission" and Dany's "mission" it becomes pretty clear which is the one fulfilling the prophecy.

Jessica

McKay or jack needs to go through the comments before bc I see spoilers

Destorias

I don't think any 1 ever believed Jon to be dead fr even back in the day when we was watching it as it came out.

Maria

Shadow

Each characters stans just get so defensive. They have to tear down any other “candidate” and most just actively avoid evidence from the other side. Book vs show talk goes south. It’s an area in the fandom that could be such a good discussion on how we should interpret stuff and what it all means but the convos are hardly constructive. Grrm purposefully makes his prophecies confusing and multifaced. There is probs reasons why some characters strongly fulfill different aspects. The show mishandled it and just stirred the waters more. We really don’t know… which is why it’s such a debate

Fatipapi

just the casual infinite tsukuyomi drop 😂 sneaky lil brig

Sean Carroll

Cock jokes are absolutely unnecessary. Sometimes they can be funny if executed right but the showrunners just made Tyrion do a cock joke randomly two episodes in a row, at this point it is just filler talk that has no point to it.

kami

I don't think this season is good, there's just a lot of fanservice so people like it.

Zechree

Roose is one of my favorite characters in the books. He’s a solid show character. Bolton drip is too cool🩸

Fatipapi

Wrapping Balon Greyjoy in seaweed like he's some sushi 😂

Fatipapi

i was wondering why it sounded so familiar! i first thought it was robb who said it to brann in s1e1, but he was shooting arrows and not swinging a sword

NoneOfYourBeeswax

In the books there is pervasive evidence that Tyrion is in fact a Targaryen, the result of the Mad King forcing himself upon Tywin's wife. It was no secret that Aerys' lusting after Lord Tywin's wife was a major factor in him resigning as Hand and returning to Casterly Rock. Many fans deny this because they are wedded to the dynamic of Tywin and Tyrion's relationship, but the evidence is there and cannot be gainsaid.

chloe

yes, it was a big thing when jon snow came back to life. my friends and i literally cheered/screamed. especially that we had to wait for 1 year to get confirmation, and in the books jon is still dead (or his last scene was the mutiny). also, with game of thrones, you have to celebrate every wins lol

Shadow

The evidence is decent. Especially for this verse where a confirmation isn’t common. And I always liked the theory. Tywins son most like him isn’t even his. Their dynamic still stands

Sean Carroll

Aot did it better GOT SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!!! What was the actual point in time travel in got in the end? Yes we get the hold the door moment which is great but apart from that and learning Jon’s mother and father which turned out to mean nothing I don’t see what time travel actually did for the show. It was clear that it was going to be used for those two things but since Jon’s character was thrown in the bin by the writers in the end what was the point of it all?

NoneOfYourBeeswax

You all knew Jon Snow was coming back because you didn't spent a year being gaslit by the writers of the show and even Kit Harrington himself, who said in interviews that he wasn't coming back for the next season.

Riksu

To avoid spoilers here, you should watch a video on Youtube called ”George RR Martin on why he doesn’t read fan theories”.

Maari

Dude it's literally the easiest thing to predict. John was never going to stay dead, no one I ever watched this show with believed it for an instant.

NoneOfYourBeeswax

And the writers AND Kit Harrington were gaslighting us all years, saying he wouldn't be back for the new season. Binge-watching years after the original airing takes out all of the tension and makes such predictions super easy, barely and inconvenience.

Maria

Thank you both 🙏 I realize I’ve seen that video before! I have a lot of respect for his reasoning on that.

NoneOfYourBeeswax

Even easier to make claims years after the show aired - link to your original prediction or it never happened! :D

NoneOfYourBeeswax

Commenting on this now would inevitably entail huge spoilers. People just have no self-control, it's like everyone is turning into Sean. That's just sad :(

NoneOfYourBeeswax

The real reason he doesn't read fan theories is 1) he's insanely possessive of his work and 2) he's insanely thin-skinned.

Leo

Cool mate, they already got spoiled on this. They literally talking about it

Nomaan

Idk if I like the idea of BOOK Tyrion on a dragon…

emma.bean

I genuinely love this episode. The bran stuff is so cool I think. Another great Sansa and Theon moment. Ramsay continues upping the stakes. Love tyrions dragon scene. I find the faceless men stuff to be so intriguing and one of the most mysterious things on the show so I love it even though I know a lot of people don’t. Jon’s resurrection is such a good scene. And we didn’t have to go to dorne at all. Dubs all around. 💕

Roy Koopa

And not surprisingly that dialogue is taken from the books.

Roy Koopa

He was in a Danish show called Borgen, which is brilliant. The guy is actually a great actor. The writing is the problem.

Julia

I love Hodor.

Ivan Carrasco

honestly the guys thats seen the show need to keep in. its spoils more than you think

ssj4rit

It’s objectively true, as evil as he is he’s been succeeding over the “good guys” (Robb, Ned, etc). At the very least he’s still alive I don’t like him but gotta give him his due lol, his strategies have been working for the game of thrones so far

Griffin

If he did, that'd be spoilers. Just knock if off sean

Griffin

Jesus people. Talking about things in the books is still a spoiler because it implies *that it doesn't happen in the show*. There's still 3 seasons for them to watch. Cool it.

Lydia

"and here you are" that was such an amazing moment

Arctic_stark

That isn't evidence. It's just something thrown in by GRRM to create discord between Tywin and Aerys. If you know anything about book Tyrion, then him being a Lannister is crucial to his character by book 5. Martin doesn't abandon character arcs for shock value.

Arctic_stark

Well the show isnt very subtle. In the books, Martin has placed enough hints for different characters that atleast half a dozen characters can be seen to fulfill the prophecy of the Prince that was promised. The show doesn't develop most other characters to that level, so the candidates are pretty obvious.

Shadow

It could be most likely something that is never revealed/confirmed. But there is some“evidence”. Grrm purposefully laid details. It’s more than just 1 thing. He’s still a Lannister through his mother and is raised by Tywin either way. Tywin is his father and he is viewed as a full Lannister by everyone. This isn’t the Jaime and Cersi are the mad kings kids theory. These clues are spread around multiple sources, more then just the main series. It’s props a seed grrm placed that never sprouts - very grrm. I agree it’s to add more of a dynamic between Tywin and Aerys. I think he’s Tywin’s

Shadow

Yea exactly and we still don’t know so much about the Starks history. Those reveals in the books will all be endgame stuff👀

Matt Haloostock

As someone who watched this show as it aired, I'll say that me and my friends were all excited to see Jon Snow come back. We had to wait an entire year and there was a some uncertainty, especially since season 6 is past the book material. It was kind of expected that he would come back to life but it's also Game of Thrones - the show that destroys your hopes and dreams lol

JC

Roose killed by Ramsey just like he killed Rob, knife in the stomach

Michael H

@Ryan Ry Personally, I think you deserve the credit for their entire channel, random internet guy.

Socorro Viernes

Why do I feel like deep down yall don't vibe with Daenerys I'm not saying yall for sure don't it's just the vibe I'm getting 🤨🤨

Jenny D

I like the lemon tootsies! Orange is my favorite flavor though. Vanilla is good, but if you eat too many they start to taste weird

Jenny D

I was waiting for you guys to reach this point where he comes back

Tina L

And I think that's why Jon's resurrection worked. Mel lost her pride and self-assurance. It's why Thoros is able to resurrect, when asked how he does it Thoros replies with "I just say the words, it's the Lord who brings him back." (I'm paraphrasing based off of my memory) I fully believe that Mel had to lose the pride her faith gave her to truly serve the Lord of Light.

Daddy

Can you motherfuckers expand your vocabularies to include more ways to express disapproval than just saying "R-A-T"

Riley

“You’re father does not get to choose. The law is clear.” Say that louder for Team Black 😉

HRW

Rat Cooking, hes cooked, aura, all the gen-z brainrot phrases that are "in" rn

Madeline

I like your reactions but i get the feeling you’re more into just trying to predict what will happen instead of watching the show. Like I feel you don’t appreciate the watching experience. Does that make sense

Jem de Jager

I mean I kind of feel like that the revival worked.. Like the magic?… lol ehm
