Omg at the end of the episode, Singed was literally hunting a Murk Wolf. Murk Wolves are mammalian creatures that are magically altered by runic magical energy scattered across Valoran. They usually live near caves and dense forest growths. The color of their fur varies upon how much a murk wolf was altered by magical energy in the womb, ether a light brown color or a murky gray color. They have also been instances of mutations in this species, where some murk wolves are born with two heads. It is said that killing a Greater Murk Wolf with the spell of Smite summons forth a forest spirit to act as watcher for the victor. If you watch the World Of Riot's MMO Is Already Done video by Necrit, it showcases the world of runeterra which is the world of league/arcane. The video shows all the regions, what they're known for, their mobs, and the races that lives in it mostly. It's a good video to learn surface level info about the world and it has no spoilers for Arcane if you're worried about that

Before the next set of Arcane episodes, I feel like you guys should definitely watch the 'World Of Riot's MMO Is Already Done' video by Necrit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ypIpTu3ung It has no spoilers for Arcane and it can make you understand the world so much more, noticing details intentionally added to Arcane from the canon lore. Also builds up the hype for future regions that would be explored after Arcane^^

It's a beautiful episode, and I love the show. I know I'll get criticized for not giving it an outstanding review, but this episode felt messy. Conversations seemed less nuanced than before; plot points felt rushed, and the new characters lacked development – they were simply thrown into the mix without a compelling story or introduction. I was surprised by how weak Jinx's attack seemed, considering its impact on the council was comparable to a few hand grenades, whereas we initially assumed the rocket was akin to a nuclear bomb. Jace and Mel's survival, courtesy of "magic," felt a bit cheap. The interaction between Cait and Vi was also inconsistent, rapidly shifting between supportive, loving, defensive, and spiked. While this oscillation makes sense in theory, the pacing felt too rapid and random. Despite these issues, I'd give this episode an 8.3/10. It's an okay start; let's see how the story develops.

As someone who has this as my second favorite show of all time, I agree and on rewatch I feel the hype just got to me but I think it will wrap up perfectly. Hopefully they do slow down a bit.

@abogaymer Mel and Jayce survived because of Mel's "Magic item" the glow on her back. If you know, you know... Well, yea, Cait and Vi are going through stuff, they don't have the time to let the emotions settle...events are happening and decisions need to be made. Not give it a day, a week. Need to plan/decide now! Its chaos in Piltover now. With the pressure and manipulation from Ambessa and her foreign enemy, the pace is ramping even more.

Mel survived made sense if the rocket flew though the window and exploded somewhere in the room, most likely the ceiling or top of the room. That also explained the huge hole up there and few of the councilors were killed from the falling debris.
