12:15 - def not lore inaccurate it’s a callback to the fight they had in season 1 - its nearly the exact same move for move (also in the rain) as well. it’s such a nice detail 👌🏼

So far the Unknown Trio has repeated 3 characters quotes. 1st Episode he quotes the story that Noah tells Helge in season 1 about the man who stayed with them and said the quote. Episode 3 has him repeating what was in the letter written to Clausen! That is a monster reveal. Also has him repeating Bernds line about drop and ocean.

The Volumetric controls system incident has been hinted at since season 1 episode 3 with Claudia asking Bernd about the strange readings. Something happened prior to season 1 that created the substance involving the VCS and we have been slowly revealing more and more about that as the show goes on. One of the longest plot threads that is drip fed. That is what the Trio has been up to, they got the master keys to power plants in both worlds + plans for the VCS system.

Yeah I've watched it and I'm confused. So Adam knows and manipulates the multiverse but bearded Jonas doesn't remember being in the other world, are things changing or not? Does Adam actually know the endgame? I do remember the answer to that question but I don't remember how we get there at all lol, this will be fun. Are Eve and Adam working together? Must be

im so grateful for this patreon community pushing this show so hard because it has been on my list and i would have probably gotten around to it eventually but idk i wasnt that concerned with it ... i simply just didnt understand the actual level of peak it would be or i would have watched it sooner. so ive just come to say thanks to the dark fans in here.. it has secured a spot in my top of all time.

but also popped round to say... are you guys missing an opportunity with the dune series?? i admittedly havent watched ep 1 yet, but you guys definitely should have done the two dune movie reactions and then reacted to this series as it airs live?? i just feel like there is nothing like an HBO sunday night slot original show and experiencing it live with the world. the best of the best tv has been birthed by HBO on sunday nights. im gonna catch up before ep 2 drops.

Imo the first 3 eps of S3 are just build up and exposition. Starting with ep4, each episode is a banger and 4-8 feel like a movie. Deffo cant wait

Young Martha (2020) who saved Jonas from apocalypse went to bearded Jonas in 1888, gave him the orb and went to 2053 to Adam within the same normal world. Jonas of 2020 is with Martha of 2019 and they went to 2053 of reverse world. Notice how reverse world Martha-Eva wants to save her world/keep the knot and Adam wants to destroy the knot. All we know Adam wants to save his Martha, but kills her every time, because he wants to find the origin of the knot to destroy it. Think about it, why bearded Jonas doesn't know anything about reverse world

the only thing I can tell without spoilers is that Adam knows about the other world, cause this same Martha has appeared in front of bearded Jonas. So whatever Adam knows must have been when he was younger. Doesn't mean he was in the other world

Maybe I am biased as a Dune fan that has read all of the books but I have a pretty idea where they are going with things and I think it will probably be a slow roll for the first episodes but it should get pretty wild once it gets some things done with the build up. Dune is not and never has been a fast paced or action heavy thing, theres a lot of slower paced more contemplative elements, and some political cunning and such, and then big events/clashes where it all meets up. Not unlike the Villueve films really.

Expanse would be absolutely epic and I agree they would love it from start to finish. I enjoyed Vikings but yeah it definitely lowers in quality in the last few seasons and thats a pretty widespread opinion.
