Part of the reason it seemed so easy for Muichiro to beat upper 5 was bc they didn't do a good job of explaining what was going on in his mist forms. In the manga there's a little description that says hes moving so fast you can only occasionally see his afterimage or something along those lines. Also like Brig said the demon slayer mark is like a massive power up, imagine if Rengoku had unlocked his RIP the GOAT

I'm for one am glad Gyokko (upper 5) is dead. Every time he talked, I just thought about Kiba from Naruto because they have the same voice actor.
