Yes Yuta is still a bad ass who is OP because as Gojo said at the end, he is actually a relative of his, descendant from one of the 3 most powerful sourcerers which is how he created Rita's curse in the first place, but after coming to JJH he learnt how to wield his own power. Don't let anyone spoil what happened with Geto! Yes it's confusing at the minute because he's clearly dying at the end here, and then suddenly returns with stitches across his head for season 1, but it should be explained in the second arc of season 2 hopefully since its explained in the Shibuya Arc. I am so excited for season 2 omggggg. Not too fussed about the Hidden Inventory arc although I'm excited for it, but to finally see Shibuya animated is going to be absolutely INSANE. YOU ARENT READY!!! Love the reaction guys 💗

So just finished y’all’s reaction!! Loved it!! But to answer your question “what people’s ‘problem’ with the movie was?” In the simplest terms, unfortunately the anime community has a lot of fanbase competition and haters which in my opinion is just so ridiculous cause it’s all subjective to each others opinions of what we deem to be “good” tv. Objectively, there’s a few “loose ends” like briggs says but it’s all part of the storytelling. We’ll all learn a bit more in season 2. But yeah, tbh that’s why I don’t go on Twitter or read comments on anime videos because everyone always has something to say. You’ll always find some sort of negativity. As long as you guys enjoyed it, then that’s really your answer. Anyways, can’t wait for next season!! Keep up the good work!! I will be tuning in! P.S. y’all missed the post credit scene 🤧😬

Yes, Yuta is still OP because he is one of the only 4 people who are special grade sorcerers along with Gojo, Geto and another character! That should put it into perspective how strong Yuta is if he is considered in the same level as Gojo in terms of sorcerer rankings

Inumaki and Yuji are the OP baby boys of JJK but as mentioned, Yuuta is the "womanizer" (getting Maki to blush like that). That Nanami scene and Gojo taking off his blindfold made everyone scream in the theaters. 😆 You missed the post-credit scene, though. 😂

this was my first time watching and I don't really understand all the 'hate' this got either. Really the only complaint I have is how it kinda felt like it was moving from one moment to the next way too fast in the first half, but the second half absolutely carried, and the animation and cinematography were absolutely top notch for the whole thing. Easily a high 8 or not 9/10

You guys asked a lot of really good questions esp about Geto, and I promise all of them will be answered in season 2! The events of the manga really pick up starting here! Also you guys pretty much had it right about Yuta, he himself has an almost infinite amount of cursed energy, so rika was only as strong as she is because of how much cursed energy Yuta has. So even though he broke her curse, he is still insanely strong because of the amount of cursed energy he has, but since he didn't have any experience he had to learn to control it through rika. Also I saw the movie in theaters and I can confirm it was epic on the big screen.

Fun fact: That scene with Maki doing a split while the focus is on her rear, Nakamura Yuichi (Gojo's VA) expressed his concern when he was asked about it. He said that while they are anime characters, he feels it was unnecessary to include that shot for fanservice (a real gentleman). The other VAs in that interview agreed but the others joked about Maki's leg being so muscular and strong that she can crush people's head with it.😅😅😅

Yeah he didn't spoil anything. Though what the original comment was about is that he very frequently tells them/comments on stuff that are only a couple seconds away which takes away from the 100% blind reaction (what viewers like) to events/info since they are made aware before it even happens on screen. I don't agree with calling it "spoiling" but its understandable imo it can be annoying for viewers who had been anticipating their reaction for a long time.

Can Brick or Britt just watch the show without commenting every time something important is about to happen. Just a note at the end of your discussion you mention that if someone watched The Hobbit before The Lord of the Rings they wouldn't be lost where as watching JJK0 before the show would confuse people, even though The Hobbit movie came out after TLOTR movies, The Hobbit book came out almost 20 years before TLOTR books.
