Wasn't a massive fan of FMAB and dropped it half way through, however I think that it may have been because i watched it dub for some reason, and the VA's cringed me out. Would be happy to watch it again to see if my opinion changes. Obviously glad chainsaw man won tho

Yea I think the guys should just watch every show on that poll in highest voted order. React up to 3 shows total simultaneously, maybe squeeze in a movie every other week. Kinda like how they watched JJK, DS, VS, & DN. Just add the next new show after finishing a series.

CSM goes to pretty crazy places later on in the manga, stuff that won’t be in anime form for at least another 2-3 years from now but I think the 12 episodes that are out right now do a good job of showing where it could head. If you guys like JJK you’ll like CSM

unlike American tv shows, anime is very divisive. people are willing to go to war to defend their favorite anime and attack other shows. You don't see breaking bad fans attacking game of throne fans. But the anime community is a constant warzone

I know everyone was saying that the death note doesn’t change people’s personalities but I don’t think that’s true. I agree with Carter, I’m pretty sure the whole point of this arc highlighting how different Light acts when he’s not a death note user, is to show that without the death note’s influence/power he isn’t a total psychopath.

I think what people mean is that the death note doesn't directly have an effect that changes people, it just changes people the same way that gaining and having power does. So it's not the death note directly, it's just the power you gain from it that changes you

To me it's basically the opposite. It's showing how easy it is to criticize when you don't have the power to do something, and yet anyone could be like that if given the opportunity. Light has an extreme sense of justice and wants to help people. When given the power to make a real difference in the world and make it a better place, he takes it. It's not like he chose the power to be one that kills, but since it is he'll make use of it. I mean even while not believing it (now), he's still questioning it cause he could see himself agreeing with it. Honestly it's why even given everything, I kinda think Light is more morally "right" than L. Light does things to try and help people, it's just they're pretty extreme things. L does things to try and solve a puzzle and cause he's a sore loser, it's just they usually align with what most people agree is the better choice.
