Ninjas, OCs and horses, oh my! (Patreon)

I hope no one minds the sudden fixation on Naruto related things. I started looking at old art and fics and wanted to draw more OCs and a few fav canon characters.

First up is Nomi. She's shown up in my gallerya few times and with a new hair color! I'll have to pursue that and see if its a change I really wanna stick to.

The next three are the sand siblings, Gaara, Kankuro and Temari. As I browsed through my old archives I realized I've always been more interested in world building with OCs more than doing fanart of my fav characters. I wanna say thats partly influenced by old experiences when fandoms I used to be in would gatekeep what was allowed (no oc x canon etc, canon had to be JUST so, written or drawn specifically) it was tiresome. There's a type of control I enjoyed when creating OCs, I didn't have to follow some kind of OOC guideline...unless you go into the mary sue issues which is another story!

Last two are a pair. The red haired guy was one of my fav OCs. He began with the idea that I wanted a character to have horse friends xD So Keiji and Haiiro (or FRANK) were created! He was a wandering ninja who traveled with his HFF (HORSE FRIEND FOREVER) and I had a lot of fun with him. If this streak continues Ill definitely share more of him 💖
