Culture | Akira Special Collection Laserdisc (Patreon)

For some Laserdisc anime collector this must be the most treasure. This was special because it have 3 disc inside. One of them has a interview with Otomo Katsuhiro and there are parts on the discs that have special storyboards for the movie that show the sketching work. 🤗

You may have see this picture used on the front before , but this was draw by Otomo only for this Laserdisc. So it was the first time it was seen. 

When this came out it was sell for ¥18000. Today that is $120 USD but in 1993 was really a lot more! 🫠
