Namco and Sega made a Cosmo Gang toy that has the same idea of shoot the alien to stop them stealing the energy. It is score based game. Sega probably help Namco with the manufacture because they already make a lot of toy in the 1990’s time. I am not sure why they used the name Cosmo Gangs. This name was use by Data East for the USA arcade game sale.
