Hello, it's me - your friendly neighbourhod videoman.

This video is a little bit rambley - I was at the Pau Grand Prix this weekend and didn't really stop, while trying to be mentally present for multiple motorsporty things so I was wiiiiiped making this. But these are my thoughts, as I had them. Hope it's semi coherent.

Not waffly at all! I quite liked the Miami atmosphere at first, but over the weekend it seemed to get lost in its own self importance.

Very much liking these Talking Points videos. And certainly wasn’t rambley. I’m hoping we’ll come back next year and have a decent track surface, the B&Q car park bit sorted out, and real water in the fake marina. We’ve come a long way since 2012 when Austin had to remove the stars and stripes painted on the run-offs.

It was all -a lot- wasnt it? I mean, quite fun in its own way but a bit too much for me. I do think maybe we should make more of a celebration at other grands prix to be honest!

The track surface is my biggest issue. We all laughed at the fake marina when the stories broke but tbh, with the helicopter shots, I was genuinely amazed at how well they'd dressed up the whole area, considering it's a car park
