Project 2025: The myths and the facts

Direct quotes from the project:

"Pornography, manifested today in the omnipresent propagation of transgender

ideology and sexualization of children, for instance, is not a political Gordian knot

inextricably binding up disparate claims about free speech, property rights, sexual

liberation, and child welfare. It has no claim to First Amendment protection. Its

purveyors are child predators and misogynistic exploiters of women. Their product

is as addictive as any illicit drug and as psychologically destructive as any crime.

Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should

be imprisoned. Educators and public librarians who purvey it should be classed

as registered sex offenders. And telecommunications and technology firms that

facilitate its spread should be shuttered."

"Conservatives should gratefully celebrate the greatest pro-family win

in a generation: overturning Roe v. Wade, a decision that for five decades made a

mockery of our Constitution and facilitated the deaths of tens of millions of unborn

children. But the Dobbs decision is just the beginning. Conservatives in the states

and in Washington, including in the next conservative Administration, should

push as hard as possible to protect the unborn in every jurisdiction in America. In

particular, the next conservative President should work with Congress to enact the

most robust protections for the unborn that Congress will support while deploying

existing federal powers to protect innocent life and vigorously complying with

statutory bans on the federal funding of abortion. Conservatives should ardently

pursue these pro-life and pro-family policies while recognizing the many women

who find themselves in immensely difficult and often tragic situations and the heroism of every choice to become a mother."

This is driving me nuts - like Tom said people do wild stuff in emergencies - I’ve got a feeling PhD in psychology - not therapy but human behavior … I’ve been posting that statement ‘people do wild things after a sudden trauma’ - and gotten PAGES and PAGES of people yelling at me and telling me i need to turn in my degrees because look at that one woman - she didn’t get off her phone fast enough or something … It’s like live action Dunning-Kruger effect …

Between the dude who shot Reagan to impress an actress and this kid America might have some of the most apathetic, apolitical, assassins in history.

Talking about how you react on emergencies: I used to live in Chile, which means that you would feel strong earth tremors from time to time. We chileans used to those small almost harmless earthquakes. Every 15 to 20 years a big Earthquake hits the country, so, I had posed myself the question "what would I grab when the big Earthquake hits?"... so many ideas, so many plans. And then, the 2010's 8.8 MW mega earthquake happened. I was sleeping when it began. Got up thinking it was a "oh, this is a strong one". Grabbed the door frame and immediately the stronger wave hit. Not that I wanted to save the frame door, I have to mention. It is a good place to keep your balance... specially when the floor is moving sideways and up and down. But I didn't save thw things I had thought I would: my computer, any of my guitars... just stayed there trying not to fall, listening the unreal loud sound ot the Earth and things falling around me. Just thought of my now wife and her fear of Earthquakes. Once it stopped I stayed there and started screaming the names of my family members to know if they were ok, before moving to be sure the roof wouldn't collapse on top of me while adventuring to see the health state of others. I was woke up by the earthquake... that could be an excuse to me not doing what I thought I would... but I am confident that I wouldn't have been prepared anyway.

Toddlers always know how to come out audience at all times. This is Trump’s greatest skill. Of course, I’m in the future after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris suck all of the air out of the mainstream media sales. And now the races totally different. Who could imagine that barely a week later and everyone has forgotten about an assassination attempt on a former president? as for the little Incel, who took the shot at Trump, I believe his entire driving factor was “major look.“ it’s not far-fetched to imagine someone who feels utterly helpless, bullied, shame, and powerless dreaming of being remembered as the person that changed the course of history.

So, I remember driving around NYC listening to Hot 97 when Trump University commercials were constantly being aired. I remember being outraged at the time because he claimed in the commercial that he did his first real estate deal at 19 and that he’d show you how to do it. I was like this is complete nonsense because no one does a real estate deal when they are just out of high school in NYC. He was given a building or the money to purchase a building. That’s not a real estate deal, that’s a real estate transfer from rich dad.
