Polling data collection… a few years ago I quit responding to text polls. So many of them, on both sides, look like a poll but your response isn’t recorded unless you donate. 🖕 that.

Cecil, your question about looking back is one of the interesting points on the polling of this election... There's no history in this race before July 21. Those prior polls were not wrong, as Carl said. Biden was almost assuredly going to lose... luckily, events change. Lol, I comment as I listen, I'm glad Carl brought this up :)

Great interview, but I think calling polling science is a bit of a stretch. There's overlap for sure, but there's also overlap with budgeting, but that's not called science, nor polling. Science at least involves peer review (when it does properly occur) rather than proprietary algorithms.
