Cecil, that edit at 33:25 is awful man. Episode has been great so far other than that though

On the Kekistani and other white supremacist bullshit, ContraPoints did an AMAZING video on this whole thing... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sx4BVGPkdzk

Just got to where they're criticizing "Coach" Dave where he talks about using the giving out of aid to the hurricane victims as an opportunity to preach. As parasitic and ghoulish as it is, those people actually believe that they are doing "good". I've seen a few "Chick" tracts where biblegod throws religious leaders into the lake of fire becuase they didn't preach when they helped others. Yeah. They think that they are the good guys. That's why appealing to human decency won't work.

With THC and CBD: the reason we only have small scale studies is because the schedule one designation on cannabis prevents the kind of research that would actually give us answers. We can't get the data on what THC/CBD might be used for until that changes.

Thank you so much for that Simon and Garfunkle parody, because it led me to this masterpiece...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ege_RBhh37A

Thanks for my patreon shout out on the cannibus/cannabal episode. Just because I'm from Colorado doesn't mean I eat people.

I agree. I don't use pot, but I think it should be legal, but I'm also skeptical of any medicinal use. And most everyone I know smokes pot, before it was legal and after. The thing that's changed is the open growing. I'm a bit against growers coming in, because of water usage, which is a real concern here. But it's actually created a lot of jobs for people that need them.

I have enthusiastically Pentecostal family members. They, like Coach/NotACoach, see tragedy as an opportunity to expand the church's reach. They way they approach it is that god visits tragedy upon people so their hearts/souls are open to the gospel. No matter how you phrase it, though, you're spot on in calling it what it is: exploitative behavior that targets people at their lowest ebb.
