Thanks for the episode guys. I have been so confused about the Yale incident for awhile. Thanks for finally clearing it up.

It's amazing how one sided Eli's representation of events is. He ignores the Mizzou "safe space" that was a group taking over a public space through violence. He ignores that the accusations brought against the Yale frat are simply that, accusations. He ignores the utterly ridiculous demands students at numerous universities have made (<a href="http://www.thedemands.org)." rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.thedemands.org).</a> He paints anyone who disagrees with him as a rape apologist or anti-feminist rather than attacking the arguments they're making. And then accuses them of doing the same. Eli makes for the perfect example of cognitive dissonance, intellectual dishonesty, and lack of self awareness.

Great episode. I like Eli and I like the fact that there are still voices within the atheist movement who haven't bought into the whole You Tube anti-feminism thing. I don't know much about the specific incident so I will leave my comment at that.

Great episode, thank you for having the conversation

This may have been my favorite episode thus far!

When I discovered the show and started going through the back catalog (way back in March), I actually cringed the first time a listener sent in an email saying you were feminists. "Here it comes," I thought to myself, "'well, I wouldn't say I'm a -feminist-...'" I was very pleasantly surprised when you both said the opposite. It's really sad that that's such a breath of fresh air, but, I was so glad to hear it. Way too often, I hear people espouse feminist views, only to balk at the actual term - like someone saying, "Yes, I treat diseases and disorders of the skin, but, 'dermatologist' is such a strong word." Thank you for owning the term, and thank you for being one of the very few atheist/skeptical channels (that I know of, at least) that gives horrible ideas and horrible people the verbal beatdowns they deserve, but also shows empathy and kindness, and the humility to learn from mistakes when they're made. It's what keeps me coming back.

Awesome episode!
