Keeping an eye on the alt-right, and evangelical christianity is my hobby (I know, they're very close to the same circles on the Venn), and the Bronie thing has been an issue for awhile. It seems to overlap, to some degree, with the alt-right/nazi furries (a small, but loud and awful part of the furry community). I'm not saying that they're one and the same, but that those two communities are reinforcing one another in two very disparate, but awful ways :/
