Not gonna lie but there’s a Catholic priest who shops in the store I work at regularly, collar and all, and I automatically think he’s a bad person based on his profession. It might be wrong but I just can’t help it.

Probably not a paedophile. But he probably knows of one somewhere in the ranks and is probably covering for them. If he somehow isn't any of that, he sends money to the Vatican, which is a centuries old world wide child rape ring which is obscenely rich via nazi gold (and that just most recently, other sources just as foul historically). Yeah, I automatically think he's a bad person based on his profession too.

I wrote the same comment on YouTube - I really enjoyed Tom's explanation of the problem with the christianity take on forgiveness.

The whole "being duped into a religious event" thing reminded me of something that happened in my high school during the late 90s. Either during lunch or after school (I wasn't one to linger after class and so missed it), someone set up all this cool shit - bouncy castle, games, etc - then after about half hour, maybe less, they locked the doors, bouncy castle got deflated, and the preaching started. Turned out to be all set up by the local Baptist church

Fine I get it! I’ll rewatch Dogma, sheesh.
