Oh hey, side note about the masks: virus particles are indeed much smaller than the holes in the cloth, and even the individual fibers of that cloth. Your "running through the forest" analogy is pretty accurate, but in the virus' case, all of the trees have a powerful electromagnetic field and you are magnetic.
