I live in Maryland and I am a CCW holder. The state and local counties have already been trying to make it impossible to be able to legally carry. I’m someone who is Hispanic and one of the things you didn’t mention is that it would more than likely make way for scams for people who want to get the insurance. Also is a right to fee state so it’s already incredibly difficult to protect yourself even if it was needed.

As a person who isn't a strong reader myself I get where you're coming from but personally while you're stupid lower using ad hominem attacks like that on her she's not above doing the same and neither is the rest of her party yes it feels nice to be on the moral High ground ground and ad hominem attacks seem to bother them in a way that reality and legit criticisms don't I much prefer civil discourse however they don't rise to that level and they treat each other and themselves with the same disregard that she's being treated with now

Tom, fuck Marjorie Taylor Greene, she should be roundly mocked for everything, she doesn't deserve compassion or empathy because she shows no compassion or empathy. If you mispronounce a word, or Cecil mispronounces a word I will immediately give you the benefit of the doubt because you've earned that, she has not. I'll go one step further. Mocking is fine, but using all of their weaknesses against them in an effective and strategic manner is better. I'm tired of taking the "High Road". I want us to win. The future of human civilization hangs in the balance, so nothing is off limits if it means winning.

It’s already illegal to buy guns for anyone other than yourself. But I completely agree those parents are assholes. And you actually nailed it Cecil. With the insurance, it becomes a privilege. The ATF has flat out, admitted that the NFA was enacted in order to be a financial burden. And prohibitive. To price people out of the market. The NFA is completely unconstitutional. And I know I’m the lone gun guy here, but so much of what you guys are asking for is unconstitutional and has already been litigated and found to be as such. There’s a reason politicians don’t do things. It’s not because they don’t want to and don’t want to appease voters. It’s because they know they can’t. Until the constitution changes? So much of what you want is just flat out illegal. It may be morally justifiable? Hell it may even be needed? But it is still illegal under the current law of the land. And the constitution either means something or it doesn’t? You don’t get to pick and choose which laws you’re going to enforce. If you want to change the law? You have to amend the constitution. And your position while it may be popular? Is a position that is not as popular as you think it is. And that’s why they don’t even try it. Gavin Newsom’s 28th amendment nonsense is a publicity stunt because he wants to run for president. Nothing more. When you have more than than half the states in this nation that recognize constitutional carry? There is no way in hell you’re going to pass that amendment.
