The tale of three Fray Strategies (Patreon)

Once upon a time, there were three trading strategies found in a deep, dark place on the Internet they call "THe GitHub".
Nobody knew were they exactly came from and who their elders were, but one thing was sure. THey exist because they were here.
To find out if these three strategies were of good or bad intentions, people had to come up on a way to inquire these strategies. So to find out if they were of good fortune.
The strategies
The timeframe
The first question the people asked these strategies, that also called themselves algorithms, or in short algo's, were the timeframe on which they operated. And they all said that their main focus always was on the 15 minute timeframe.
ROI
Then people asked if they used specific time based points on which the could provide certain profits. And this is what they said:
Stop loss
The third question asked, as if they were three wishes, concerned the stop loss of these algos. A very important question to ask since that proviced a lot of information on the risks that these algo's proviced.
The people got the following answers:
Some of the answers concerned the people, since these large stop-losses could certainly cause big losses in a single trade if things went south.
Also when the people got to hear that all these algos had their trailing stop set to True, they got a little bit cautious. Their experience with trailing stops was not good at all...
But nonetheless the people got more and more curious and brave and kept on asking more and more questions.
Indicators
One thing the people were also very curious about was how these algos decided it was time to buy or time to sell. On which principles and ideas were these buys and sells based...
Well, each and every algo had very different principles, or what they like to call 'indicators' on which they based their decisions on.
For example
FRAYSTRAT thought mostly about the RSI, Stochastics, MACD, MFI, Bollinger, EMA, SAR, TEMA and Hilbert sine.
But eventually only used parts of the Bollinger Bands, Tema, Ema, Volume, MACD and RSI for final decision making when buying and selling.
While FrayStratLiveBTC had a whole different idea on the rules (or indicators) to base it's decisions on.
For example: It used RSI, Fisher RSI, MACD and normalized MACD, EMA, SAR and TEMA.
But eventually had much simpler buy signals that were only based on FRSI, EMA, MACD and SAR. Quit different from its brother...
And finally the third brother could not be left behind. He, only wanted to use the ADX, RSI, Inverse Fisher RSI, Stochastics, Macd, Bollinger, EMA, SAR and Hilbert Sine.
A lot was inspired by the first brother discussed.
And also the Buy signals were exactly alike.
However, with the sell signals they had some different opinions, not much though. But still enough to prove thet they had very different performances in the end.
Backtest results
Now that the people knew more about the intentions of the strategies, they decided it was time for a test for each of them. So to prove if they were worthy to be allowed between the rankings of the peoples champions.
What the people call 'THE STRATEGY LEAGUE'...
A famous and widely known list of the best performers and where many people take their inspiration from if it concerns the creation of new opportunities.
But the people were in for a huge a dissapoinment. All these three Fray strategies were not fit to attain great wealth for the people.
As a matter of fact, they performed very poorly.
I will not go in to much detail but will only show you the most important aspects of the algorithms performances.
A Picture says a thousand words here...
If the people had philantropic ideas. To make other people rich with their own money and walk the path of the poor themselves. Then surely they should adopt the ideas of these Frey strategies. Losing all their hard earned wealth and diving the dumpster of Wendy's themselves.
But the people weren't like that. On the contrary. THey were exactly the opposite.
THey wanted to get filthy rich on the accounts of others. Taking wealth as to attain more then they ever can handle.
So you can understand that the people were not amused at all to see how quickly their money could dissapear when they watched the drawdown charts...
On top of this all, three wise men called Sharpe, Calmar and Sortino also showed their own personal performance calculations of these algo's to the people.
The three algo's did one more try to convince the people that they were of good intensions. They advertised their excellent winrate with great pride. Just as many other strategies that presented themselves on a well known place of fame and fortune, called "The Youtube".
Where the sun only shines and bad realistic results were quickly ignored and disappeared into the Youtube abyss. Never to be seen again... Because, who also wants to learn from failuire. Do you..?
Anyway, shocked and discussed the people only wanted to know one thing.
The final performance scores of these strategies and some generic advice and personal opinions. So to make good definitieve judgement on whether to make use of the strategies, information or clever tricks these strategies could provide.
The people turned master who was, luckily not that old, but wise and experienced.
This master also wrote and calculated all the performance scores so that he could present these to the people and inform them about the dangers and risks, but also the possibilities, probabilities and chances that lie in the future if they would use the full or parts of these strategies.
That Use ofcourse always came after the people themselves did some good research. So to not make the stupid mistake of following some Internet guru's advice and still lose all their money.
And the master showed his final scores to the people so that they finally could judge themselves if they would make use of the strategies, that were found in the Github.
And low and behold, the master told the people, that were still not subscribed to his channel, that these strategies probably were someones testground because they performed very poorly. To say it mildly.
You could see things from a positive perspective as well. Because If you had to search for these strategies in the ever grwing, long, long list of already tested strategies. And you started from the back, you would find them pretty quickly, thus saving you a lot of time... Time that you can spend on other trading ideas to investigate.
And so the wise master turned around and started to walk away. With his last wish to the people who were still watching until this point.
His wish was to like the video and leave a comment and to finally subscribe. Because he would return later for yet another test of champions. To see who could make it to the top of the league and could make the people the fortune they deserve...
Farewell and see you in the next video...!
