Okay, it might sound like a crazy idea, and I still don't know if I'll be able to pull it out, but let me explain it to you.

30 characters in 30 days.

The idea behind this challenge is for my style to become faster, loose, spontaneous and to learn how to let go the mistakes it can have.

Since I have to deliver one character per day, I'll be forced to leave the small details as they are and move on to the next piece.

The background should be left aside or they can share a common background since it would be too demanding to think about a different background per art.

I'm still not sure if they should be portraits or full body pictures.

I was also debating whether it should have a theme like video game girls, video game creatures, anime characters, or anything goes. I'm also thinking of letting you suggest between 3 to 5 characters each so you can be involved in the process, too. All the characters need to be on a list before starting anything.

I don't know if this should be a project to start in January, or if it would be better to think it through and make it for February. Either way, I would like to hear your opinions on the matter :)

How about characters from different people you know or are a fan of on DeviantArt as a theme? My 3 suggestions would be Johannes Svartsvard, Ame Lashiec and Madeline. But that's just one example. the choise is yours.

I would like to include Deviantart characters, but I've noticed that outside DA walls they don't get as much attention as you would expect :( It could be because they're not recognized outside that circle. No matter how awesome the drawing looks, it tends to get overlooked :(
