Whew! This was a lot of work! But I'm happy to report that the Spelljammer is now ready for 3D printing!

This is the first time I've made a ship of this quality so please forgive me if its not perfect perfect. I don't make terrain pieces very often but I try.

Given its so massive I had to split it up into a variety of pieces. Most are keyed minus the actual captains wheel. I cut down the pieces with meshmixer so they're tight cuts down to the pixel. But given the nature of 3D printing, you will still have to either sand or use green stuff to fill in spaces or make room. Room temp, material temp, and a variety of other factors seem to always make pieces come out either too big or too small for precise slots.

Full files are in the new Spelljammer folder. I hope you like this piece!

This is awesome, is this a one-off or is it part of a longer spelljammer/airship series?

part of us wants to print this thing... but at the same time, it is easily twice as long as the demon grinder...

That's great MZ!

i've got some printers that are 300x300x400mm, but even that won't fit!

I too enjoyed watching you work on twitch for a few hours. So inspiring! And the jazz grooves were great.

Thanks. I’m in need of Steampunkish airships!

Looks like it could theoretically print in 3 total print sessions on the Prusa if parts are printed simultaneously. I'm tempted to try it out,.

So so so tempted...... what are the dimensions of the finished product anyways? (Still not sure how I could see/calculate that)

The main hull is 318.51 x 643.61 x 189.32mm. I've split it up into enough pieces to fit on a Prusa I3 MK3

Is there a registration key missing from the "Spelljammer Ship Right Sail" piece. There's a hole on the Mast for it to go into, and the Left Sail has one. (The sails are definitely the hardest parts of this build haha)

Whoops look at that. Yup that piece was missing for some reason. Its fixed now and in the drive.
