The Bombard Spelljammer Ship! (Patreon)

Hello friends! Last Friday I didn't get to much 3D so I made up for it today by going all out! I made this Bombard Spelljammer Ship! I don't make vehicles and terrain often so it was a lot of work! However I'm really happy with the results :D

Its sized to line up with the actual map overlays in the book thus it is MASSIVE. It can only be printed in FDM. However if you want to shrink it down for resin you're obviously welcome to as well as splitting it. Meshmixer is the program you'd use to split it up further. 

I wish I was more of an engineer otherwise I would have split it up so you could have multiple floors and such. However I'm sure there are more CAD comfy people out there who want to take on that kind of challenge so naturally I include all the files here. Some files were to big for the Patreon post so here is the link to the Google folder.  

Some fun details I threw in there are that the crane and ballistas can rotate. To save time and given they're very generic objects I used some creative commons objects. The links are here and here . Also the cannonballs are individual objects so you can remove them as needed as the ship fires away. The sail can rotate too. I also made a stand for this though if you remove the bottom rudder it can stand on its own too. 

Also for fun I made a small version that you can use in ship to ship combat encounters. It fits on a 2 x 2 marker. From here onward whenever I make these ships I'll be sure to add little versions for these encounters :D
