On a rainy Odaiba Memorial Day, two friends, Kenji and Hiroshi, decided to clean out the cluttered basement of Kenji’s family home. The place was a treasure trove of forgotten childhood toys and dusty relics of a bygone era. As they dug through old boxes and broken electronics, Kenji stumbled upon a pair of devices that looked eerily familiar: two ancient Digivices, relics from their favorite childhood show, Digimon.
"Hey, Hiroshi, check this out!" Kenji exclaimed, holding up the Digivices.
Hiroshi's eyes widened with excitement. "No way! Are those real? Do you think they still work?"
Without a second thought, Kenji turned the dial on one of the Digivices. The screen flickered to life, emitting a strange glow. Before they could react, a thick, rubbery goo began oozing out of the device. It moved with a life of its own, quickly climbing up Kenji's arm. He yelped in surprise, trying to shake it off, but the goo was relentless, spreading rapidly over his body.
"Hiroshi, help me!" Kenji cried, but his friend was paralyzed with shock, unable to do anything but watch.
The goo climbed higher, covering Kenji's torso and legs, encasing him in a shiny, rubbery suit. He struggled and tugged at the substance, but it only tightened its grip, sealing him in completely. Within moments, Kenji was transformed into a life-sized version of ExVeemon, his body encased in an unyielding layer of synthetic flesh.
"Kenji! Are you okay?" Hiroshi finally managed to shout, reaching out to his friend-turned-Digimon.
Kenji tried to respond, but his voice came out distorted and metallic. "I... I can't get out! It's not coming off!"
Panic set in as Hiroshi grabbed the second Digivice, desperately searching for a way to reverse the transformation. But the moment he touched it, the same rubbery goo began to flow out, latching onto him with the same relentless grip. Hiroshi screamed, fighting to free himself, but the goo climbed up his body with terrifying speed.
Within minutes, Hiroshi was fully encased in rubber, transformed into a Guilmon. The two friends stood there, trapped in their new forms, unable to communicate beyond distorted growls and gestures.
Kenji and Hiroshi continued to struggle, tugging at the rubbery goo, but it was futile. Once the transformation was complete, the rubber sealed up forever. They were left to roam the basement, unable to return to their human forms, forever trapped as living Digimon.
Isn't that just... delightful?
