Discord Extras {July 2023} (Patreon)

Welcome everyone to yet another Patreon update day! Despite everything that happened in June including getting very sick putting me out for 3 days I managed to get quite a few projects done! Hopefully I don't get sick again for a long while! >.< But all and all another wonderful month to come to pass. ^_^

Images 1&2

This Kangaroo Gal was by far my largest project of the month, and was she ever fun! Also, learned a ton about Kangaroos and their anatomy I didn't have any idea about. This was one of those projects I have gone into with little to no prior knowledge of the species, and learning about them was just an added bonus in my book! ^o^

Decided to make her a Wildlife photographer who decided to undergo a Transformation into a Kangaroo Anthro via the Morphological Institute, so she can get closer to the wildlife. Her back story may very well be explored in a future Transformation comic! ^_^

The second image was a post work experiment with depth of field camera blur to go along with the Camera theme of the project. It added a level of realism to the piece but I'm not exactly sure I like it. lol

I have been trying to get into the habit of sharing more in progress renders of my projects so these 6 images are a collection of renders at various points of production, including movement and texture tests among other things. ^_^

After quite a struggle and failed and comical attempt at trying to find a 3D Camera strap model on the free market during a stream I decided to make my own completely from scratch. 

Based off of my own RL camera strap, this ended up being an almost 100% accurate 3D recreation, and I am probably much more stoked about it than I should be, I LOVE it! lol 

I was able to actually source my own photos for texturing using the vary camera the strap was used on. It's one of the very few times I've been able to actually do that so it was exciting, least for me, especially not having to worry about finding high quality images to work from online which is always hit or miss and a struggle. I wish I had real world access to the various creatures I create anthros of to photograph myself in controlled lighting for use in the same way. :P

And yes, this is the same strap used in the Previous Roo Gal pieces ^_^

Image 11&12

This Piece here was another Commission for my friend the generous Marberguson, featuring his pit bull guy on the road too somewhere after getting released from confinement. The second of the two images was a render test showing some additional updates to the characters head shape.

Marb Needed a character ref of his Hyena Character for another artist to use so I was much obliged to whip this together for him. ^_^

This was Another quick commission for JustAnotherFurryFellow of their character Alyx succumbing to the all mighty power of the C-O-N-E! :P

Images 15&16

Once again getting inspired by the bees of spring in my garden I decided to bring out Wasp Gal for another piece of art. With this project I tried out some Post Work techniques/experiments I had, to great effect, and some Daz render camera tricks I had thought up for creating decorative plant boarders! ^_^

The second image was me trying to see what it would look like if the image was thinner, if anything it told me that I need to work on her more and make her head and such thinner. lol

This was done as a slightly silly prop project after discussing how it would be funny seeing a Canine anthro at the grocery store checking out with a ton of various dog food cans and bags. We shall have a lot of fun with this prop in the future for sure! >:P
