The devlog update is coming up.
I continue to build level 1 locations, and the day before I got to the point of creating a boss location.
The battle with the very first boss shouldn't be too difficult in my opinion. However, this fight should stand out from the previous battles.
I created a giant enemy girl as the boss. I originally wanted to insert a neural network generated image of the girl. But later I decided to add some animation to the boss, and it was difficult to do it on the generated image. I had to draw the enemy girl from zero. Her simple animation is frame-by-frame, because I don't know how to do the other one.
I haven't had time to do the boss fight itself yet. But the giant girl in the background of the location gave me an idea! I thought it would be nice to add giant girls on the background of ordinary locations! I think it would look good, and would add some kind of challenge to the game playthrough. What kind of challenge? And the challenge is not to be distracted by the beautiful sexy shapes of the girls in the background.
However, I think, giant girls on the background will not be in every location, because I'm afraid it will take me a lot of time to draw background images in the final version of the game. Let me remind that the Steam version of the game will only have the original images created from zero. I'm adding the generated images to the working build only to speed up the development process. And the backstory of the final version of the game will explain the presence of these girls in the background.
However, the generated images should always be edited in Photoshop too, because AI rarely gives a quality result. Editing is also time-consuming and, so far, I've only had time to add the giant girl to the first location. I'll add more next week. Also next week I'll start doing the boss battle. I can't say if I'll have time to finish it - time will tell.
