Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a great Saturday and weekend so far. Here's the animation art of our recent game character along with a little chibi I practiced eye blinking with :P I'm having a lot of fun learning animation so far. It takes some time, but it feels very satisfying to look at when I'm finished.

I plan on recording a ramble later tonight, so I'll be uploading that in the next couple of days. I have some stuff going on IRL that's both exciting and stressful so I thought it would be nice to share that with you all! :)

Song of the week is one I heard on the radio recently and thought it was really good. As usual feel free to post your own song recommendations ♥

Song: Another Ghost by Upon A Burning Body

I've been reading your comments on the recent roleplay and I'm glad you all seemed to enjoy it! Being a lover of both creepy stuff and games I had a lot of fun with it, so it makes me happy you did too. I'll be getting to all your comments here shortly ^_^

Make sure to rest sufficiently and eat heatily to handle the stress better. Dont be dumb like me. : ) Excited for the ramble I am, for I'm a curious one! Your devotion to your craft, channel and patreons is most admirable. I wish I had your methodology to handle so much at once.

Looking forward to the ramble as always, but do hope everything is going relatively okay even if it is stressful. For the song, it caught me a little off guard when looking at the music video as the first like 20 seconds had an explanation about what the song is about lol. It's a nice sentiment though and the song was very good. My recommendation this is not video game related actually. I was reminded of a band I was really into last year so I thought I'd post one of their songs, although I had a hard time picking. The recommendation I settled on is "sorry i'm a downer" by Loveless.

A lot of things have been done recently for me, finally caught up with every Alichu Video on here and on YouTube, I got hired to work somewhere but I've gotta wait until orientation starts, and I think I'm almost done recovering from my wisdom teeth. Honestly I can't wait for the ramble to come out so I can listen to it while playing games(probably siege even though it's a sound based game but then again every ramble is just asmr but somewhat on a relatable topic and such). The beats of the song recommendation I feel go too unconnected with melody, but then again I prefer to listen to anything precise with the tones and such. Either way, a good song to listen to. For this song recommendation, I'm gonna give you one that I've legitimately played through my 11th grade High School year from Symphonic Band. Shrine of the Fallen by Brian Balmages. The supposed origin of this song states of the time where a soldier from Ukraine is leaving his family to go to war against Russia. In the immense of this act, he did a little bit of side notes involving an explanation of what exactly he expressed when he had left his family. Also keep in mind that this is what fond memory of what I remember my band teacher telling me when first performing this piece. And also for the near ending of the song, I legit went to study what had to be said there(from their language) once you hear it. I will tell you that this piece right here... this is a powerful and harmonic piece that I've ever played.

Can’t wait to see your progress with animating, and looking forward to the ramble! Really dug the song, I’m actually torn between two suggestions, both are by the band Wage War. So yeah imma put both lol, the songs are “Low” and “Manic”

Sir Skelington

If Alichu makes a chibi, does that make it a chibichu? My song recommendation is not for everyone but if you like loud music and deep meaningful lyrics then I think you'll like it, Alaskan Bull Worm by Drewsif.

Thank you Teach, I really appreciate your comment! ^_^ Tbh, making stuff is my way of dealing with stress and "escaping" for lack of a better word haha! I find making stories and stuff really fun and kinda like my own version of ASMR :)

alichuart

Everything is alright, no worries! There's some changes that I'll be dealing with soon but I'm hopeful it's for the better ^_^ Tbh, I didn't even know the music video had that haha! I first heard it on the radio so my only image of it was when the pretty music started at the beginning. That was a nice message though after watching it! That Loveless song was great, I really enjoyed that! :) I felt really nostalgic hearing it for some reason, like maybe I've heard them before. I'm going to give some of their other songs a listen so thanks for the recommendation!

Congrats on your job orientation!! :) Despite what I talk about in my newest ramble please don't let my experiences take away from that excitement if and when you listen. Getting a new job is always a good things so that's really awesome! I'm happy to hear your wisdom teeth are healing well too! Oh, you were in band? Have you told me that before or am I thinking of someone else? Either way, that's really cool! What instrument did you play? Only answer that if you want, I can't help but be curious though :) I had a lot of friends in band when I was in school but never was in it myself- I opted for being a theatre kid instead lol. I decided to lean back in my chair for that listen and I'm glad I did. I really felt like the music told a story- props to the musicians playing!! Kudos to you for also playing it, I can only imagine the practice and time that took. I really enjoyed listening to that so thanks for suggesting it :)

alichuart

Ahh, the chorus to Low is so good! That one is going on my playlist for sure :P Manic was good too, really loved the beat especially. I've never heard of this band before, so I'll need to check out some of their other stuff- thanks for the suggestion Succotash! :)

alichuart

A chibichu indeed- I like that! xD Ok...I'm not crazy, right? Did this guy really just scream Bikini Bottom? Omg, I love this so much right now! I don't know why but this guy's vibe reminds me of the band Nekrogoblikon- please tell me you've heard them. If not give "Powercore" a listen if you want!

So far my weekend has been good! Currently on a trip visiting my dad and staying at his girlfriend's house. Only problem is that while I lay here in the bed in her guest room, I realize.... this bed is as hard as a rock! I actually woke up with my hips hurting!! I'm too young to have my hips hurt! Lol I'm going back home tomorrow morning though so that'll be nice lol wonderful 6 and a half hour drive back, and then i have an extra day offwork to relax! How's yours been?? Gonna be listening to the ramble when I get home or hmm... I wonder if I can download it.. and listen to it in the car.. lol give me something to listen to for a bit before I go back to my zombie apocalypse audio drama! Lol (ps, highly recommend if you like that stuff, it's called We're Alive) also gonna have to catch up on the audios I've missed lol I do hope the stressful parts get better though!! Also, ooh, I like Upon a Burning Body!

BloodyAzazel

Hey, as long as I have someone who is always curious about something, then I don't mind having a small explanation. I just enjoy the clingy people that just are wanting to have questions of anything so thanks. :) I remember that I told you I was in band during the Sweet Bat Doctor audio, but if it's a bit fumbled up, let me just give you some detail(hope you like it :) ). I played band for like 6 years, 3 in Jr High, and the rest in High School. Surprisingly I was actually with the same band teacher for like 5 years since my 8th grade year, he had an announcement about him being moved up to the High School for a promotion. Something I will say is that Marching Season was my favorite time all the time because of the experience I've had before. That teacher actually had us do marching for the first time after my Sophomore year since he really loved us and because it was a good way to end off the last time they'd see the first ever students that they've taught for 6 years. Also I would definitely come at you for leaving band and going to theater( -_-), but then again I've already seen people from band drop it for singing and them hating them for doing that(idk why). And for the instrument I played, I played Tuba and Sousaphone(Marching Tuba). Funny enough, when I first began beginning band, I first had great skills with the Reed of a clarinet. I made it my first choice to play just so I could do the thing I've thought about where I'd just say, "I'm Squidward." After the selection had been made, we'll firstly, that teacher had us all be selected into Harry Potter classes(I was a RavenClaw in it so don't judge >_>) and I was also selected as a Tuba player. Never in my life have I ever just been feeling like a tryhard. That whole time of Jr High for half the year, I was the only good Tuba player out of 6 of us. Also, I was always given the sweet rewards of some Takis, my total being 10 small packs, but I wasn't a fan of then so I always gave them to my little brother since he just likes them a lot(may be the reason why he likes me a bit :) ) Afterwards, along came a newcomer of a new student and both me and him carried the class throughout Jr High. When High School came up, we had a 3rd newcomer from the opposing Jr High, but my god, the trio of us were an Unstoppable force against anyone. All and all, I just loved everything I've done. May have been a lot I've told... but hey this is what you wanted Alichu, so now it's my time to shine lol. >:)

JokermanTalon

I would kinda be surprised if you heard Loveless before since I'm not sure if they have had any radio play. I think more so they are just doing the vibes of early 2000s Pop Punk really really well. However they do have some songs, mostly their covers, that have gotten pretty popular so you may have heard one of those. When I found them, they had like 20k videos on their videos so they have gotten very popular in a relatively short amount of time lol since some of their stuff has like 500k+ views. I really love them tho so hearing someone else like them makes me a bit happy.

alichuart

Oh, nice- my friend in band played a tuba too! :) Sounds like you had a lot of fun in your band class so I'm happy to hear that. Seems like you were very good at it too! Just to be clear, I've never really played an instrument (well anyway lol), so even if I wanted to join band, I probably wouldn't be very good :') I only learned to play a few songs on the piano and some sort of flute- all of which were a long time ago and were required of me for a music class, so there's no way I can play them now haha! Considering I grew up in the middle of nowhere, the band kids and theatre kids may have well been one in the same. We were all the nerd/outcast kids for the most part, so it was one big friend group :P I also don't blame you for not liking Takis because I never enjoyed them either. Very sweet of you to give them to your little bro! Thanks for sharing your band experiences, those were fun to read ^_^

alichuart

Oh no, sorry to hear about the bed- I've been there before and it's terrible. I may be getting older but like you said, not old enough for my hips to hurt yet! lol. You know, I just recently realized myself that Patreon lets you all download audios but not videos for some reason- I wonder why that is? I wanted to redownload some videos of mine and I couldn't so that made me a bit sad ; o ; My week overall has been pretty good, thank you! A little stressful trying to get stuff ready but still a good week :D I've never heard of We're Alive before, is it a podcast or audio book of some sort? I do like me some zombie apocalypse stuff so I'm sure it's interesting :P

Delta

Lol I'm back home now though, so all good! No more feeling like I'm sleeping on an actual rock lol and I honestly had no idea you could download audios, was able to pull up the ramble on my podcast app though and listened to it for the first but of the drive lol And that's good! Moving suuuucks, and I'm not looking forward to it the next time I move lol And it's a free audio drama podcast, it's pretty good, they have some pretty good voice actors and sound effects, I'm on chapter 25 right now, it follows a few soldiers and other survivors when all hell broke loose in LA when the zombie apocalypse happened, realized I've actually been listening to them for a while since they had a radio channel on a fallout 4 radio mod lol

Loving how the animating is going Ali, I can't wait to see how you progress! And that song recommendation has now been added to my playlist, I'll have to check out some of their other songs too. My recommendation this week is a little weird. I had to decide between two of the arguably best songs, but I've decided to go with "Spirit of Man" from Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. Now I must admit, it's one of those that's better to listen to (duh it's a musical), especially if you enjoy the story (TWOTW is one of my favourite books, I don't think I've mentioned that before). As for this song specifically, I specifically recommend the 1978 version. No hate to the newer versions but the originals duet is just perfect.

alichuart

Apologies my reply is a little late to you here- I haven't been getting notifications like I usually do for some reason ; o ; Thank you so much for your comment though, I'm really glad you enjoyed the animation! I look forward to learning more as time goes on :D I made sure to find the 1978 version and that was awesome! I know it was two years prior, but it really gives me that early 80's music vibe (especially in the middle of the song) and I love that. Even though I wasn't born then I love the 80s lol. You mentioned this is a musical? I'd be curious to see that. I'm not familiar with the story but it's really hard for me to dislike a musical haha!

alichuart

Ohh, I really liked this one! :) I'm going to need to check out some of their other stuff. Thanks for the song rec! ♥
