Happy Monday Ali cats! I hope you’re all starting off to a good week. This upcoming Friday you’ll be given a nice blessing by a loving Paladin so I hope you’re ready :P This poll will be for next Friday so let me know which one you’d like to hear/see most!

I was thinking about it and I don’t think I’ve done a needy character before, correct me if I’m wrong. On that note, I’d like to make one! I’m thinking of a NEET/awkward character who wants your attention. Not sure what she’ll be yet (human or monster) but let me know what you’d like your relationship with her to be! This will determine how the story goes and what sounds/triggers I will do ✨

Question of the week is this: What’s something that you absolutely hate doing but is necessary? For me it’s getting rid of a bug that found it’s way into my place lol 💀

My job basically it's just hard to deal with sometimes but I need the money so yeah... but aside from that I finally listened to the audio first and saw the pic I nearly screamed in flusteredness it's really cute! Seriously it looks amazing 🤩

So far so good this week! Hope the same for you!! As for the character, gotta go with childhood friend to be the needy one! Lol And for the question... huh... I have to say rotating my tires.. my garage is cramped and I can't do it outside because it's not level lol speaking of bugs, you get your first giant roach yet?? It's a given in an apartment in this state! Lol

I'm not the biggest fan of cleaning the bathroom, but after seeing just how bad things could become in a college dorm room with 1 bathroom and 4 guys, I swore to myself that I would never let my own bathroom in my own place become like that. I clean the bathroom pretty regularly even if it ain't my favorite thing 😅

As far as something I hate doing but absolutely have to that’s gotta be dealing with the chickens housing we have 9 chickens and they have a tarp to protect them from the elements on their housing but man is it a pain to replace it’s a whole family operation massive pain but the chickens are happy so it’s worth it. Forcing myself stay on task is not fun for me. I often get distracted or forget o do something I need to do and forcing myself to keep on task is not enjoyable. I'm 90% sure I have ADHD or something, but I've never gone to get tested. You've done a NEET character before for Valentines day, it was like a friend audio where listener came over after something about getting dumped by their girlfriend or something. Either way, I'd be a great return. I feel like out of these 3 options, opting a girlfriend would most likely be a good option because I would only think it of tomboy if it were a childhood friend and bratty if it were a sister. For the QOTW: The answers obvious... TAXES... I mean... honestly I don't have an answer for this one.

Curious to see what the Paladin will be like. Also, needy girlfriend just seems so fitting a pair. The thing I hate doing every year is tax filing. I'm always conscientious avout if I do something wrong, and I hat having to double check and be sure I did everything right or have to correct something the system isn't in agreement with.

I voted for childhood friend. I like that trope, it brings back some nice mememories. I grew up with a childhood friend, knew each other since second grade. Things changed when we got to highschool, I had a huge crush on her sister lol My dumb teenager plan was to just hangout a lot more with my friend and eventually I'll be able to hangout with the sister. Yeah, the plan did not work very well but it did basically turn my friend into one of my best friends. And honestly that was a pretty great result, so I like childhood friend trope. We aren't as close these days but we're still friends. Ah man, I hate doing a lot of things. But I guess my answer would be any type of yard work. I'm even avoiding raking the leaves right now, but I'll have to do it because I hate the way the yard will look if it isn't maintained. Edit: Changing my answer to shoveling snow.

For me it's looking for a new Job, I was very Happy with my old one, but I'm not rich so I have to deal with it. 🤷🏼‍♂️ But I got lucky yesterday!😁💪🏻 I chose Sister because I was clumsy and missclickt on the Option but I'm fine with my Choice, I like Surprises !😁

They really are cute little animals some of ours lay blue eggs Whitch I think is really cool and they are a lot smarter then most people give them credit for.

Blessing from a Paladin? Which one though? Kings, might, wisdom? It was hard for me to decide between childhood friend and girlfriend for this poll. I don't have any siblings so I feel like it's hard to relate to the "sister" option, haha. Then again, I suppose I've never known a monster girl either. It goes without saying that I'm sure it'll be great no matter what wins. As for the QOTW, I'd have to agree that bug situations are up there for me as well. There are a metric fuckton of spiders here during the summer. I'd say mowing is probably worse overall though. It's always hot and miserable. The grass also grows so fast that it feels like a waste of time. This is why I always tell people I was never meant to leave apartment living.

While not exactly the same, I do relate to the feeling you’re describing. Mine is with multitasking. I can zone in on something and try to do it perfectly but the minute I’m asked to do something else I start to feel anxious and forced. I also get the tricking yourself into a reward, I do that sometimes too!

I’m 50/50 with the childhood friend trope. If we’re talking stories it’s heavily dependent on how the story and characters are written. For example, Ed and Winry from FMA HAD to be together in my mind lol. Sometimes it can feel a little forced though if the two characters change/mature as they get older. Almost like the author is pushing them together solely for the fact that they’ve known each other for so long despite have no chemistry. I do love hearing real life stories like yours though, I find them very charming and cute! ^_^ As for the yard work, I definitely get that. I had to do that growing up and always hated it! 😭

I’m actually about to go record it after I reply to this comment :D Oh God, mowing…I forgot how absolutely dreadful that was until moving back to my home state. In CA you don’t really have to worry about grass since everything is dead but in the south, oh boy, people are mowing their yards constantly! 💀

Yeah, I agree with that. I think that the trope can negatively impact character development. The childhood friend in media pretty much always has to start by being defined and linked to a protagonist character in some way, I do not think there is anything wrong with that... at the beginning. If the childhood friend continues to be solely defined by the protagonist, then it is a waste of a character. There needs to be character development! lol Personally, I kinda like seeing the childhood friend lose :P Just because two people have known themselves for a long time doesn't mean that they should or deserve to be together. Like you said, chemistry is important :) Ugh, I feel like I jinxed things. I just saw today's weather. Snow flurries. Not enough to be able to use the snow blower, and it wont warm up any time this week and melt. So I have to scrape it all off with a shovel.
