Happy Saturday Ali cats! I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend and staying warm (or cool depending on where you live :P). I mentioned recently that I was experimenting with my art style more and wanted to share my first full illustration with you along with our Mismagius girl! ✨

In the spirit of Pokemon and my decision to integrate the 2000s anime style into my art my song of the week is going to reflect that. As usual feel free to post song recs of your own! :3

Question of the week involves IRL videos. I’m hoping to get my tripod set up sometime this week and already have a couple of Pokemon card products to open. Are there any other TCGs you’d like to see me open? Or maybe certain collections of mine you’d like to see?

So far so good, the winter storm was a massive disappointment though.. got maybe a dusting at best before it turned into freezing rain, how about yours? As for the question, I honestly have no idea.. TCG asmr isn't entirely my thing lol would be cool to see your manga collection though! Especially since you mentored just how much you have before you moved

The art looks super good you really captured the 2000s look with the cat girl. As for the question of the week it would be cool to see some yugioh cards I’m sure if you believe in the heart of the cards you get some big hits. And as for music Akazas theme from demon slayer when they introduce him before he fights rengoku it goes so hard.

I'll say weiss Schwartz since that card game is amazing but also pika girl was a very good classic song I loved as a kid brings back my childhood of the old 2000s songs basshunter effel 65 and more.

As much as I feel like the comment of being warm or cold is pointed between the heat of Los Angeles and the Snow in other places, I feel bad for those who are suffering rn. I'm currently having some fun in the snow because it hasn't snowed where I've been for a while, but I made a snowman for the first time... only for it to have gotten blown up after ramming into it with my car. For the QOTW, I'm not a collector for cards. Funko Pops are one thing, but I don't see myself collecting cards. All I hope for is that we get the same thing for pokemon cards you did for the Halloween Pokémon Card Opening that one time, where you wrote people's names on the card and would drink(technically sip :P ) if you got a Mimikyu. Today's song is coming from Demondice. I always love listening to this one, but I always listen to it conveniently when I'm wearing her Jacket. "Take the Bait" is such a good song to listen to.

Hey Ali, my weekend has been good so far. I hope yours is going well too :) We're getting more snow today and tomorrow, so that kinda blows but it'll be nice to kick back this whole weekend. I have to wake up at 5am on weekdays now for work, so I guess getting to be lazy this weekend while I adjust isn't so bad. The drawing is great. Maybe it's not what you were going for, but the eyes made me think of Lucky Star right away lol Oh man. I haven't listened to that since like late high school. Realizing that was 13 years ago was a sucker punch. Well, to keep the pokemon theme going my recommendation is going to be  Acacia by Bump of Chicken The music video Pokemon did for their 25th anniversary using it is so well made. This is a serious answer, but what matters to me more is that your heart is in it. I think that directly affects the quality of the ASMR. I've seen a few card openings from some creators that I like, and I honestly don't think they give a shit about pokemon lol So do what you want... But if I had to make a request :P Curiosity killed the Alicat, I had to look up what Weiß Schwarz were during your cardshop roleplay ("why is she saying white black in German?"), so maybe that. I'd love to see your collection of stuff, but I think I prefer that being a surprise too.

By staying cool I’m referring to my Ali cats who live in other parts of the world. I know I have one or two that live in Australia. I wouldn’t make jokes about the Cali fires. I experienced them myself when i lived there and it’s terrible. It breaks my heart for many reasons and I hope that if anyone reading lives in my old home state they are safe ❤️ I’m glad you’re enjoying the snow though! I’m also experiencing some but it’s definitely not the kind I can have fun in. It’s very icy and it’s been terrible for driving 😭 I did really enjoy that old video with the cards, maybe I’ll do that again sometime or something similar :) Nice song rec too this week! I can’t say I listen to her very often but she is a very talented singer. I’m familiar with some of her music but I don’t think I’ve heard that one until now. Thanks for sharing that one Azazel! 🎶

Admittedly I don’t have as much Yu-GI-Oh as I used to. I regret selling my old collection 💀 I do still have some though and have thought about getting into it again but more casually :D Magic and Weiss I can definitely do ✨

Good weekend vibes, Alicats~ :3 I love how many of your characters have the single-fang dynamic going on. It was always a character keypoint that I like in anime archtypes. Your attention to the eyes is definitely noticeable, keep up the great work~! Oh man, that song reco takes me places lmao... There's many directions I could go with that, but for some reason there's a mental association there that I can't explain. Maybe in an old playlist I had these two songs back to back or something? I'm not certain, but hearing that song again immediately makes me think of Milkman- Neon Eyes. Which somehow I remember in full despite probably not listening to for years until this moment. xD As for the Cards, do you have any cool Weiss Schwarz to show off? Particularly of the Hololive Production variety but, if you have others I'd be curious to know what sorts you were interested in pulling. Some of the Fate series cards are pretty damn cool. Other than that.. You got any... Glaceons? :p Haha~ I'm just kidding on that one, really, but I'm always down to listen to you ramble over your pokemon collections. Your passion and appreciation for them always shows through, and there's few things better than listening to someone talk about something they truly enjoy.

It makes me happy that you think I captured the 2000s look :D I think there’s a couple other things I want to try experimenting with but so far I’m having a lot of fun ❤️ I used to have a lot of yugioh cards back in the day but sadly sold them 😭 I have been thinking about getting into it again though! I have some still and wouldn’t mind adding more to the collection ✨ As for your music choice, you can never go wrong with any of the Demon Slayer music! Man that anime had/has some great ones 🎶

I got to experience some snow but more ice and stuff than anything else. It’s making going out terrible though- it’s so cold! 😭 One day I’ll show off some of my manga collection. I also have a few box set things that I think would be cool too :D

Lol started sleeting at around 1pm, switched to snow around 1:45, back to sleet at 2pm, snowed pretty good at 4pm, then at 5 switched to freezing rain till it ended lol but yea, it was freezing yesterday!!! Speaking of Pokémon, I'm making good progress with Pokémon Crystal, and I must say Houndoom is giving Ditto a run for his money. I have also been looking at other tcgs to possibly get interested in and I may have found one. It may be the new Gundam card game. The only problem is that I don't even think the demo box is available in the US yet, so I cant recommend that for the video lol. What's neat about it is that also has miniatures for the game, though they will have to be painted but I can do that. I don't mean to recommend another sad song but it's just what I've been listening to, Something To Remind You by STAIND.

Happy week-end to you too Ali ! Hope you've been well on ur end too, for me it's going well at least ! I loved ur mismagius art and I've been liking what ur trying to do with ur last piece also, I hope that we'll see more soon ~ All the content about pokemon + having a friend who was playing a fangame in a vc made me want to play again too, so I've been playing recently this fangame called Pokemon Soulstones 2, where they've add 3 new type (Light, Cosmic and Sound) and they've done different typing for every pokemon in the game, it's quite incredible and been really enjoyable so far ! And I also really like the fact that it's a story driven game, and not a typical gym badges to get everywhere hehe For the song of the week I've been listening again to a band that my dad introduced to me when I was younger, a french one (but they sing in english), and they're really enjoyable One of my fav song from them is "Pink Bullets" by Uncommonmenfrommars And for the question, I feel like that if you want to show us some of ur collection from other game than TCG it could be really nice too ! Can't wait for the new content to come ~

It’s very icy which makes driving a nightmare 💀 Knowing that the drawing made you think of Lucky Star makes me so happy haha! XD Definitely the kind of vibe I was going for! Omg, that bump of chicken song…I mean, all their songs make me emotional. I’m looking at you March Comes in Like A Lion! The video is so adorable though. I always thought the girl with the Eevee was so freakin’ cute ❤️ As for the card openings, I will always have fun with those for sure!! :D Cards are such a big passion of mine. Even if I don’t play the game, just collecting them makes me happy. I don’t get Weiß Schwarz cards often (for the reason I mentioned in that video haha!) but I’d love to do a video opening some. I think relative to all the crazy stuff happening in the world, I'm doing pretty alright! Work's a little stressful with a reorg removing our entire department in Q1 and me having to make the choice of applying for my own job again or going somewhere else. But, all that to say that life happens and it really highlights how impressive it is to me that you can make so much wonderful content and art while still dealing with all the stuff that is life!

Happy Monday Shadowkitty, I hope you had a good weekend and your week goes well! :D I admit that I’m a huge fan of snaggleteeth in characters. I always thought it was such a cute trait! lol. I’m not sure if I’ve heard Neon Eyes before but it has a very nostalgic vibe to it and I liked it a lot! :) Yet again another artist/song I’m surprised doesn’t have more views. As for the cards, I do have some hololive cards I can show off! :D I made a mistake in my tcg themed video about that funny enough. I said I had a signed Marine card but it was actually Flare lol. I also have a few Glaceon cards, yes! My favorite is probably the old EX one from Fates Collide ❤️

Given the bait and switch. xD Flare is great too, of course, but I'll fight her over who's Ina is who's! With Fauna gone, Ina is more precious than ever. :p That's really awesome! I love so many of the prints they chose for those cards. For Glaceon, I can't pretend to have any knowledge from a power/meta standpoint, but I really like the version from uhm.. Evolving Skies? I think? The one with her laying on a bench. It's so cute. :3

Oh Pokemon Crystal, the memories I have of you. Literally my favorite Pokemon game of all time ❤️ I looked up the Gundam card game (the one by Bandai?) and it looks like the global release will happen in July of this year! Although I’m a sucker for Japanese cards so I wouldn’t be opposed to that either :P I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but to counter the sad let me recommend “So Far Away” by them :)

S3RL I have a story about that creator. My friend, back in 10th grade, I shared earbuds with him because he had a Spotify premium account. But my friend, was also into electronic music like S3RL, so part of my learning experience in science was also hearing S3RL songs on loop. I also like your 2000s style of art, I like that kind of style a lot as well, and I think it goes well with your characters. Also, I think this was from an old poll, but I would like to see your Alice in Wonderland collections or something Full Metal Alchemists.
