Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great Thursday so far. My stupid ass realized I never posted the art of the plague doctor so here she is! While browsing through my folders I noticed some old doodles I did that I thought I'd share with you too. These are some older drawings I did of myself before I did ASMR stuff- I thought they may be funny to some of you lol.

The last sketch is a hint to tomorrow's roleplay character on here :P It may be out a little later on Friday than usual since I want the art to look it's best- it's a character I've been dying to do after all! Also, I'll be making another post on here later since today's youtube video is another suggestion by one of you :)

So, this week's question is this: What is your favorite non-animated show? Mine is by far Breaking Bad. If someone starts talking to me about it I'll go on and on. Not sure I've ever liked a character as much as I did Jesse.

Don't have a current favorite non-animated show, but used to be a big fan of shows like Myth Busters and Animal Planet's The Most Extreme.

JokermanTalon

Really like all the art, especially the one with the owl(?) girl! For shows, mine would also probably be Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul. They are extremely good! Although that being said, the only ones other ones I have seen since I was a kid were The Walking Dead, Prison Break, and Game of Thrones. All of which turn into not very good shows lol. As a kid though I really loved Drake and Josh, iCarly, and Ned's Declassified School Survival guide. Me and my friends still reference those pretty often

I have my attention particularly on that old self-doodle, I remember seeing it on Instagram. Gotta say, your art style has changed quite a bit! And oh god, you look so energetic and ready-to-party in that picture! haha I remember when you would nonstop talk about Breaking Bad, that show changed your life. XD As for my favourites; The Last Kingdom and The Big Bang Theory. I know, I know. Trust me, there is no shortage of acknowledgment that not everyone likes that show. It just does so many things right for me! And I'm more than happy to use it as a frontline representative for how much of a weirdo I am. lol And The Last Kingdom - this show I've mentioned in your very first QOTW. For some time, I used to rank Vikings as my #1 show. But the way I would describe the difference with TLK; is both sides (Saxon & Viking) share an equal split of badassery. I love Vikings, but I always disliked how cowardly and arrogant the Christians are compared to the monstrous warriors of Scandinavia. Not in TLK, in TLK the Christians are far more courageous - while the Vikings still fearless. And that's exactly what I love; Badass vs Badass. TLK>>>>Vikings imo I think I owe you an invitation to ramble about Breaking Bad as much as you please after that word wall. haha. In a matter of hours, my family are departing to Germany. I may not show activity again until 36 hours later or something. I hope you have a great rest of your day!

I've always loved your art style it actually the reason I followed you and for the ASMR content of course but it's nice seeing your old work which still looks really nice. As for my favorite non-amimited show I'd say it has to be andor it's a star wars show and I'm a massive star wars fan so I'm a bit bias in my choice but anyways it's absolutely everything I've wanted to see in a live action star wars show the symbolism the realism the environments were really cool it's only 12 episodes very short 😭 but atleast it's getting a new season year so I'm really excited for that anyways that enough geeking out 😅.

Artilleries

I also really enjoyed Andor. I didn't even notice your pfp until you mentioned you're a Star Wars fan. We're lucky to be treated with so many new shows throughout the last couple years.

Crimson command

We certainly are although I'm still wishing for full anime series like visions then I think I'd be super satisfied but we'll have to wait a few more years for something like that. Also my username is a star wars reference if you didn't know

Artilleries

Star Wars Visions Vol.1 was actually pretty cool. I've still to watch Vol.2 I'm not too versed into Star Wars Legends lore to know what your username is referencing (the clone trooper and "Command" made me think of Commander Cody) help me out plz haha

Sir Skelington

For me it's probably The X-Files, fun show kinda goofy but I remember most of the episode instantly which is rare for me. I've always wanted to watch Breaking, but I could never get anyone to watch it with me. Also I really like drawing number 3 looks great and I relate to sleepy eyes on a personal level.

Crimson command

No worries my pfp is captain rex and my username is a reference to the command command a group of Red Victory 2 class star destroyers under the command of grand admiral zsinj later becoming warlord zsinj then the crimson command shifts to Teradoic who was later killed by Admiral Daala who took command of the reminding crimson command. Anyways I think I did why too much explaining 😅 my bad

My favorite live action show is the j-drama IS - Otoko Demo Onna Demo Nai Sei. It's a romance, coming-of-age series about Haru who is intersex. It deals with themes of self-discovery and discrimination. One thing that made it really interesting was the character Miwako who is also intersex and served as a foil to Haru. It was so emotional watching them go through personal challenges and learning about what's really important in life. I cried so many times watching this show. P.S. I watched 3 episodes of breaking bad and thought it was boring

Vince

Thank you for sharing your art doodles I really liked them! Hmm that’s a tricky question but I guess I’ll go with the old tv show House. Dr. House was always an entertaining character to me and after seeing the shows clips on YouTube I had to check out the regular series!

JokermanTalon

Ah fuck wait I just remembered something else reading other people's comments. There's a K Drama that one of my friends asked me to watch that was really good. It's called Descendants of the Sun and it's very cheesy but it was cool to see the differences in writing style since I'm mostly used to American, British, and Japanese

Maaaan…your art’s so fuckin cool haha, I’m loving that second drawing with you in the tee and shorts. It’s got a real just woke up/just got off work vibe that I absolutely fuck with. And I suppose it was only a matter of time before we saw you do a Viking girl related vid haha (I assume the last piece is a Viking that is) Yeah Breaking Bad has to be the best show I’ve ever watched. The first time I watched it was last year, not too long before you did I think. Of course the show became my whole personality for a month or two, as it does for anyone who watches BrBa the first time and enjoys it. The narrative is just so tight, and the characters are chef’s kiss. (The memes are s-tier as well.) We absolutely stan Jesse in this house lol, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted a character to just be happy as much as I did Jesse man

I remember watching Myth Busters! That show was really interesting and informative :)

Haha, for a while there I was trying to draw myself as an owl girl since I freaking love owls lol. I'm glad you like it! I tried my best to get into Better Call Saul. I think I was too caught up into finishing Breaking Bad that I didn't give it a fair chance. Maybe now that some time has gone by I'll try it again sometime :) Man, I LOVED Game of Thrones up until that last season. As much as I enjoy reading I couldn't get into the books. I read the first one but never bothered to buy the second. I've actually never watched a K Drama before. I know a lot of people I work with love them. I feel like there are so many I would have no idea which would be a good one to start with. I suppose it wouldn't matter too much as long as it sounds interesting! :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the older doodles! I thought it may give a little chuckle to some of you. I remember being a teen when The Big Bang Theory came out. I absolutely loved Sheldon at the time lol. I started to lose interest as I got older but would still catch a few episodes here and there. I still plan on giving The Last Kingdom a try. I think I may have watched the first episode but that's not enough to get a good feel for it yet! Ngl, Travis Fimmel and Alex Høgh Andersen really made Vikings for me- they're acting was S tier for sure. I hope you and your family have a nice time in Germany- that's really exciting! :) Be sure to eat some good food and chocolate for the rest of us!

alichuart

You are more than welcome to geek out here! I love when people talk about what they enjoy :) My Star Wars knowledge is very limited as I've only seen one or two of the movies fully and bits and pieces in between. My Dad absolutely loved Star Wars growing up. Even though I never got into it myself, I can for sure see why others would. It makes me happy you like the older doodles too, thank you! <3

Sleepy eyes for life over here haha! As for the X-files, the theme music of that show still sends shivers down my spine. I remember the music as a kid and always thinking it was something scary xD I hope you get the chance to watch Breaking Bad sometime! I think I annoyed some of my family with it since I wouldn't shut the hell up about it lol.

alichuart

I've only watched a handful of J-dramas growing up and remember them being pretty good- I can't for the life of me remember what their names were though. The one you described seems really interesting and something I think I'd like! Seems like it's a manga too so that's really cool :) I get you on Breaking Bad. As much as I love it, I'll admit there are some boring episodes here and there. I remember one season dragging a little, but that could have been because it showed a bunch of a character I disliked haha!

alichuart

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed them! :D I've never watched House myself, but I have a couple of family members who really loved that show. By the time I found out about it I felt it was too late to watch it with them haha! I've seen some clips though and it looks really cool- the MC seems very interesting :)

alichuart

Haha, thank you! I thought it would be funny to share some of my older stuff for shits and giggles xD I remember a friend asked me to do this art thing when I sketched that one- art vs. artist thing. I didn't want to post my real face so I was like "this is the most accurate I can make myself" lol. I will admit Breaking Bad was my whole world there for a bit. I just couldn't help it though. I annoyed the absolute shit out of my family talking about it. Like you said, everything about it was just so good. Granted a few episodes were meh, but overall the story and characters were amazing. I've never wanted to hug a character more than I did Jesse. Just thinking about him makes me tear up </3

Phosphophyllite

Though there are a handful on non-animated shows I enjoy I have to say my favorite is Good Eats lol. I'm not sure if your familiar with food network, but as someone who was raised by their grandparents, I watched more of it then I probably should have XD. Something about Good Eats just grabbed me, I think it was the science talk about how the ingredients act and form to make what the dish is. Also, I just found the host Alton Brown to be funny. now this could also just be a bias on my part because it makes me think of spending time with my grandma, but nonetheless it is still by far one of my favorite non-animated shows. I also enjoyed Breaking Bad, My favorite character was...what was her name again...oh yeah Skylar. Oh man when she sang to her boss on his birthday top tier. Never had I felt so uncringed in my life XD

Crimson command

Thanks you so much sometimes I geek out too much and I feel like it annoys peope but I'm glad it doesn't bother you. Your dad is instantly cool in my books

alichuart

I loved watching Good Eats growing up! Sometimes I get these weird moments where I binge food network or just food shows in general- despite not knowing how to cook a damn thing lol. Alton Brown is just a really cool and funny guy to me, I love his personality xD That's really sweet that it reminds you of your grandma! I have a few shows like that too. Oh dear God...Skylar's singing in that episode...I think I physically had to cover my face I felt so embarrassed. I don't know if it was the singing or just my dislike of her character but damn- I can't xD

JokermanTalon

I see that makes sense, owl are pretty cute. Although I used to have a friend that was VERY afraid of them. So much so that they couldn't even fight a monster in Monster Hunter called malfestio which is like a jester and owl mix. For Better Call Saul that's understandable. I was watching both of them as they came out so I had a bit of time in between watching them. I think it's just as good, but I also love Saul and Mike and they are in it for a good portion. I actually never finished Game of Thrones lol. I watched all the seasons as they came out expect the last one, and then I heard that is was not really good and then saw a bunch of memes about it which really just made me have no desire to see the rest. I've only seen 4-5 K Dramas but all the ones I have seen were pretty entertaining. If you ever want to watch one I'm sure you could find something that appeals to you.

Guter Tag, Ali. We made it :)) I'm really glad you have good memories with TBBT. I remember not being immediately hooked from the get go with TLK, but as you progress, it gets more and more interesting. Finmel and Anderson are great actors but TLK have a fair share of talented folk too. Also, in my opinion, TLK has better female characters than Vikings. Fun fact; one of TLK's actors also starts in Vikings Valhalla (talk about a little crossover haha).
