Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope your week is going well so far :) It seems like I'm going to need to break the tie on the character for this week; anglerfish or mantis shrimp, we shall see <3

The other day I watched one of my favorite comedy movies and I was curious: what is your favorite comedy? I have a couple; all of which I've seen multiple times haha! Army of Darkness, Step Brothers and The Campaign.

For next week's character I was thinking I could do something a little sweet and wholesome. I'm thinking about a confession type audio- so a classmate or friend confesses their feelings. Their character type will determine their personality of course :P

Crimson command

Ohhh man they are both super interesting I think ill have to go with the mantis ship mainly because they have the strongest punch in the world which is a cool little fact. Hmmm favorite comedy moive I have so many that I consider my favorite the ones I'd pick though are scary moive, meet the Spartans and Joe's apartment oh and inglorious bastards. All three choices are really good I had to choose at random since I was too indecisive but which ever wins will be great

Kai Zomei

Whichever you pick I'm sure it'll be good. Best I can think of for a comedy if it counts is Nacho Libre.

JokermanTalon

I haven't really watched many comedy movies lately so all of mine are pretty old lol. But I really like "Billy Madison", "Happy Gilmore", "Without a Paddle", and "Dude, Where's my Car?". I am not sure is any of these are actually good lol, but I remember really liking them as a kid. As for the poll, it seems like another really close one lol.

cloudberrybob

Don't really watch comedy movies but I love stand-up. My favorite comedy special is Ronny Chieng: Asian Comedian Destroys America. The way this guy makes fun of both American and Asian culture is absolutely hilarious! Also I changed my pick to anglerfish since octopus is out of the running :(

Sir Skelington

Darn, octogirl didn't make the cut. I've actually been trying to get someone to watch all the Evil Dead movies with me recently. As for favorite that's difficult, I definitely like Austin Powers, Zoolander, Dumb and Dumber, but the one I remember more lines of than any other is Major Payne.

Artilleries

Watch this poll get a tie as well. Alichu will be just about done with us! XD The only comedy I actually watched was The Big Bang Theory. I saw that you actually did have fond memories of that show (particularly Sheldon) which I'm really glad about! Happy Tuesday to you as well, mines was terrific~ ✨

I know, right?! I found that to be so cool about the mantis shrimp! I already have a story in mind for this week that I think is really fitting- I threw in some animal facts I thought were pretty interesting :D I've heard of Inglorious Bastards but haven't gotten a chance to see it. I've for sure seen some of the scary movies haha! Those were really funny xD

alichuart

I remember seeing that a few years back lol. I can't remember all the details, but I do remember it being funny xD

Kai Zomei

My brother and I used to quote it all the time back in the day.

alichuart

I feel like most of the movies I find funny are getting older now too lol. All of those movies you listed I really enjoy! I'm bias for "Without a Paddle" since I really enjoy Matthew Lillard's acting. The best thing for me about my polls is that I always win hehe :P Every character will be fun for me!

alichuart

I love stand-up too! There's nothing more chill than finding a special and having a nice drink and food :) I'm not sure I've seen Ronny Chieng so I'll have to check them out- I'm always up for a good stand-up. Also, no worries on the octopus. I was giving it some thought today, and I think I'm going to make it into a youtube audio later this week or the next- everyone loves a good tentacle girl :P

alichuart

Octo girl is going to make an appearance on youtube this week or the next! I thought about it, and I think I want to do an octopus girl regardless because everyone loves tentacles :P Sadly I can't find anywhere that has the first two evil dead movies. I may have to buy them online so I can just have a copy for when I get the urge to watch it lol. Oh man, I absolutely loved Austin Powers growing up xD I was for sure way too young to be watching it at the time, but man was it funny!

alichuart

Haha, it's alright! I don't mind tie breakers. It's always a win for me since I'll have fun with whoever gets chosen. The Big Bang Theory is definitely nostalgic for me. I think I had just entered high school when it got big and I really loved watching it :) I'm glad to hear you had a nice Tuesday! May the rest of your week be good too <3

JokermanTalon

Yeah I really like Adam Sandler's old movies, I think they are very good lol. I know a lot people don't like his newer stuff but I watched a documentary on him and he just seems like a genuinely chill dude so even if he isn't making the funniest movies anymore I'd still support him. But also speaking of actors that seem like good people, Matthew Lillard seems pretty nice as well from all the social media things I have seen him put out. I also like him in "Without a Paddle" however he will always be Shaggy for me from the live action Scooby Doo movies lol. I still love those movies even if they are aren't the best

alichuart

Oh man, I'm glad I'm not the only one who will forever see him as Shaggy! xD I can't look at him without thinking that. I also really liked him in an old horror movie called "13 Ghost" It may be a little cheesy now, but it scared me when I was younger lol. Pretty good story though!

JokermanTalon

I haven't heard of it but it's also really not surprising that I haven't as I was a massive scaredy cat for most of my life lol. Even now I still don't really watch horror movies unless I am with friends so I will take your word for it, but if Mathew is in it then at least some of it has to be good! Although horror in books and video games have become one of my favorite genres so idk what happened there.
