Heads up: I spend a lot of time screaming loudly at Alex. Maybe don't have your volume all the way up. 🤣

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, I know I should feel something about this end scene with Alex, but I don't. They just spent way too much time making her unlikable for me to care about this. Also, this just feels like another way to try to manipulate Julian.

So, it turns out that they agency can't actually get Nathan a job in the NBA this year. However, they do find a place for him to play in Spain. It would only be for a year, and then he can get back to the NBA next year. Theoretically. Neither he nor Haley really want to move to Spain, but they agree to consider it. However, when Haley goes in to record, bitch record label lady informs her that she's leaving on tour next week to promote the new album. Haley explains that she can't really do that, and she's informed that her contract stipulates she has to.

When she goes home, Nathan tells her that he thinks they should move to Spain. And she then she tells him about the tour. Again, they agree to think about it. But in the end, Haley decides it's best to move to Spain, as it's Nathan's dream. However, he counters with her taking Jamie on tour, and they afterwards, they can meet up with him in Spain. Ugh. I really don't want them to be apart. They just got things back under control. Sigh.

We've also got Millie, who continues to spiral. Victoria bailed her out of jail only for her to immediately go to Alex's hotel looking for her coke. Alex finds it first and flushes it. The two of them argue and Alex begs are to stop. She tells her that she knows from experience that it's better if she just stops now. Millie blows her off and calls one of the other models to buy coke from. However, she finds out she owes the girl $600 for other coke purchases and can't pay it. The girl offers to accept a dress from Brooke's new line as payment. After she says she can't, Millie, goes into the store after hours and steals the dress.

Oh, god. My heart is just aching for Brooke right now. She's already in so much pain and now she has to deal with this bullshit from Alex. So, Alex is busy trying to 'win back Julian.' She's texting him that she loves him. Then she apologizes. Shows up at the house. He's trying to make it as painfully obvious as he can that he's not interested and that he loves Brooke. But Alex doesn't care. She wants the man and damn everything else. Julian accidentally slips to Alex that Brooke can't have kids. And then asks her to keep it between them. She immediately shows up at Clothes Over Bros to tell Brooke that she knows and that she and Julian tell her other everything. Long story short, this kills Brooke, and she tells Julian that she needs space from him. I don't know exactly if they have broken up or not (although, it seems like even if it's not forever, it is for right now), but they are in a very bad place. And I mostly blame Alex for this.

Shortly after this, Alex calls Julian again, and he lets it go to voicemail. She says she's sorry for everything, but that she's now out of his hair forever. She hangs up and we she she's slit her wrists in the bathtub.

I have grown to hate her character so much, that I really hope she's just dead. Seriously. I know that mean, but these aren't real people. Plus, they made her a character that's easy to hate. Change my mind.

Everyone going though something and/or about to leave town and we are left with Quinn, lol. I really dislike this character. And yeah, I'm not a fan of Alex either.

I can fix her! Joking aside, I like Alex, I know I kinda biased since I had a crush on the actress since her first second on screen, but I really love the subtext of that character, what we are not being told, the potential ever since that scene with her alone, sad on Clay's steps you can see there is more than meets the eye going on with her. What is even more insane with my love of Alex is that she is literally screwing with my #1 favorite character since the show's inception, yet I just can't hate her, lol.

Everybody is sure going through it in this episode, and I didn't like them ending a cliffhanger on a suicide attempt at all, but that aside, the acting from everybody was great, and I was so here for all the Naley stuff and how they so gracefully handled everything together. I love them both in such a healthy place that it's automatic to now deal with things as a family and talk through everything, instead of trying to protect the other, and hide or omit things in service of the other. Love how Haley's first reaction about her tour was to turn it down to go with Nathan to Spain, and Nathan's first reaction is for Haley to go on tour and then join him when it's over. When he put together the map of all her tours stops with special places to eat at and things to do for her and Jamie...I melted. That's the Nathan Scott we all know and love. Then when he brought up their anniversary in that old house in Charleston, and told Haley he knows her wish is to go back on tour because she told him that night, and he wants her to have that, and then he reiterated what their therapist told them back in S5...that if they just be them, that everything else will work out...talk about couple goals. Those two are everything together, and I love how we get all these full circle moments with Naley this season where we see how much they have grown an evolved. Because that was always their biggest bugaboo, right? Trying so hard to put the other first, that they forgot about their individual dreams and passions, and trying to find that right balance was always the issue. Well not anymore, lol. Naley have mastered it to a tee...they should teach a class on it, hehe. So yeah, totally loved all the Naley we got here. Hands down, they never disappoint. Brooke and Victoria were powerful together in this episode too, and I'm glad that we got to see Victoria be there for Brooke when she really needs her. And Dan and Jimmy's mom at the school was every bit as riveting as well. You begin to see the impact that her words had on him, so what will he do now? And I did love seeing Clay going on the road to see the QB from Arkansas that hasn't signed yet, and then seeking council from Sara from the grave. I thought it was all powerful, and at least we had some comedy and levity from Jamie, Chuck, and Skills with the whole White Men Can't Jump spoof, lol. I thought it played exactly how it was supposed to. So yeah...in an episode that could have been real messy jumping around all over the place, I actually really appreciated the deeper poignant moments we got here.
