OMG. Why does this episode hate me?

So, there's a massive storm and we start with Julian and Brooke in a fight. No thank you. I hate it. Eventually, she gets upset and heads out for a drive to clear her head. No thank you. Brooke, honey, what are you doing?

Also, Jamie is at a spelling bee and asks to drive home with Miss Lauren, Chuck, and Madison. Haley is reluctant at first because of the storm, but eventually, relents.

While, Brooke is driving she finds Chuck bleeding from the head, standing in the middle of the road in the middle of the pouring rain. Turns out, Lauren had an accident. Brooke puts Chuck in her car and rushes over. Lauren is unconscious, and Jamie is trapped by a broken seatbelt, but Madison is okay. Brooke sends her to her car and tells her to call 9-1-1. She wakes up Lauren, who is able to move and drives Chuck and Madison to the hospital, while Brooke works on cutting out Jamie with some nail clippers.

Finally, Julian shows up to help, but just as he gets there, a car comes by and plows into Lauren's car sending it off the bridge with Brooke and Jamie inside. Julian immediately jumps off the bridge and swims over to the car. He assures them the car is not sinking, it's already on the bottom. However, Jamie is still stuck, and now Brooke is as well, with her leg wedged under the steering column. Then, the levee breaks and the car immediately begins to fill with water. Brooke insists Julian save Jaime, which he manages to do. He comes back for Brooke, but he cannot get her free. (Just break her damn leg, seriously). She ends up drowning while Julian works on her. He finally gets her free and carries her up to the bridge, but she's not breathing. He sends Jamie away. Nathan and Haley drive by and Jamie is all, 'Aunt Brooke is dead'. No thank you.

Turns out, after he's decided she was dead, Julian sees a bit of movement and continues CPR and Brooke does eventually cough up a bunch of water, and is okay. Do not do this to me. Not with Brooke.

While all this is going on, Katie shows back up to toy with Quinn. Bitch, just go away. WTF. Anyway, somehow Quinn realizes she's there and hides under the bed with a knife. But Katie finds her immediately. Quinn stabs her in the leg and Katie pulls a gun on her. But, decides she'd rather play with knives, and tosses the gun away.

After a giant game of cat and mouse, Quinn throws both of them over the deck and into the pool. Katie, believing that Quinn drowned and she's victorious climbs happily out of the pool. However, Quinn is hanging out in an air pocket and is okay. She ends up retrieving the gun, and shooting Katie.

Please, OTH. Give me some happy, light, fluffiness next episode. No more angst. I beg you.
