SURPRISE, NEW GROUP!!!

I've been wanting to react to Aespa for a long time because of the amount of comments I get about them and because I have some friends that are very big fans of them. As you guys may already know, this group didn't come from the last poll, this is the first group I'm reacting to not because they won the poll, which is something that I will be doing more in the future so I can react to more groups. I will obviously still be reacting to Red Velvet soon (winners of the last Patreon poll) but I hope you guys like this little change with the reactions!.

About Aespa... Man, this was one of the craziest (if not the craziest) 1st impression with a new group that I've ever had, Drama was completely different to anything I've listened to in K-pop and I freaking love their style and concept.

If you want to suggest any Aespa content for the future, please do because I will definitely be reacting to them a lot!

Paused the reaction to tell you her name: Winter. Wolf cut is Karina. The others are Ning Ning and Giselle.

My fav aespa track is "Girls" which brought me back since everything else before "Girls" (and after their debut with "Black Mamba") wasn't really for me. After "Girls" they only released tracks that i loved. They became my "Best Group Of The Year 2023" thx to their releases that year. I would especially recommend "Welcome to my World" and "Better Things" to complete their 2023 releases. Finally "Aespa's Sync Road" would be their first reality tv show (similar to something like "Blackpink House") if you want to dive deeper. They also have alot fun vlogs

One other suggestion: The girl with red hair you liked at the beginning ("so beautiful") and whose voice you liked so much is Winter. She has an amazing episode of Lee Mujin Service (EP 72), where you can experience her live vocals and get an impression of her (adorable) personality. VERY worth reacting to...

Somebody should've probably given you a heads up about the lore/storyline aspect of some of their music because without context, it's pretty hard to follow what the hell is going on in Savage 😂. Anyways, from Black mamba (2020) up until Girls (2022) (or Welcome to MY World (2023) depending on how some people look at it) their music is very lore heavy. You won't understand much of what's going on unless you REALLY pay attention to the lyrics/visual or watch the lore related mini films from the 'SM Culture Universe'. As someone that has been with aespa since the very beginning (since news came out about a new SM gg or even further if we count knowing Ningning from SM Rookies) this "weird" futuristic AI concept was very jarring at first and was met with a lot of controversy, but it ultimately made them stick out and has even given them a unique brand identity dubbed as "aespacore" (look it up on Pinterest you'll know what I mean)

Man that is really interesting, I like jumping into reactions completely blind though, it's fun to be surprised. I will try to learn the lore little by little from now though, seems like I will have to study it a lot on my time as well lol

Lúcia Pacheco

bro, the girl you liked is Winter! She actually has a collab song, that came out last year, with Soyeon from I-dle and Liz, from IVE, called "Nobody", including an M/V. Definitley worth checking out :D

Hahaha, I loved your reaction 😂. I'm a very 3rd gen kpop kinda fan, and I thought I was just a very casual listener of Aespa, an suddenly I realized I loved every single one of their comebacks and I thought like, "wow, maybe I should accept I'm not just a casual listener". They are one of my favorite 4th gen groups. I haven't gotten pretty deep into their world, but I do know a lot about them without trying hahaha. Also, I feel like Karina is an AI too haha, it's impressive. For me, Next Level is their best song, I can't get enough of it (Drama is also in my head 24/7, help). I hope you can listen to it!

Also, about the context for Savage... hahaha. It's pretty complex. There are videos explaining that. They debuted with a whole universe storyline (and it has something to do with the SM multiverse in general) but they have this whole story around a post apocalyptic world of some sort, fighting towards a common enemy, with technology and avatars (as the kda dancers hahahaha)
