Things really picked up in these three episodes and it brings me so much joy to finally see Korra dealing with conflicts as a fully realised Avatar. She's trying to be a peacemaker but also has a firm hand now which is exciting. Enjoy :)

Hi ! You've asked about new tv shows for reaction- how about Once upon a time? Or Big Bang Theory? Or Stranger Things

Kitty Underwood

Other shows I suggest would be Magicians, His Dark Materials, A Discovery of Witches, or Vampire Diaries (this is a big commitment, 8 seasons plus 2 spinoff shows)

I think you missed it in episode 4 when the guys were off to the side talking, Ikki pulled her hand out of the ropes to scratch her face then put it back before they turned around. Just like Aang used to do lol

If you’re interested in other animated shows, two that I’ve always felt have similar vibes to ATLA and LOK are She-ra and the Princesses of Power (the 2018 Netflix series) and The Owl House. They’re both super funny, imo, and they start off a bit more light-hearted and episodic but then get deeper and darker as the shows go on.

I’d really recommend once upon a time, it’s so good.

Just so you know for the next batch if you haven’t already filmed it, Nickelodeon spontaneously cut this season’s budget, the equivalent of what it would cost to make about 1 episode. But they still had to deliver a total of 13 episodes. So the creators were left with the choice of either letting go of a bunch of their crew members several weeks earlier than expected, or get creative with the budget. This is one of the creator’s tumblr posts about the situation, which he released before the episode aired: https://www.tumblr.com/bryankonietzko/103173899927/a-few-preemptive-words-about-episode-408

Varrick's cries Zhuuuu Liii always gets me laugh 😂 I see others commenting on the suggestions. If you are interested in animated TV shows, I would recommend "The Dragon Prince", it was written by Aaron Ehasz, who was also a writer for ATLA. I watched it back in 2020, then there were only 3 seasons. Now I checked and there are already 5 seasons, so at least I found a series that I should watch

You should definitely watch steven universe!

Regarding Lin & Su’s parentage, it’s mentioned briefly in s3e5 when they are first reunited in Zaofu that they have different fathers. That doesn’t technically answer your question but it does add a little more context.
