It was so fascinating seeing the results of having a player who has attended the Squid Games before and how he tried to warn everyone. Some things just stay the same though unfortunately... Enjoy :)

I'VE PLAYED THESE GAMES BEFORE 🗣️🗣️🗣️

Regarding Ep 04 - "Six Legs" - people are speculating that the title refers to horse racing in that the horse has four legs and the jockey two, making it 6 legs. This is another reference to them calling Gi-Hun and others "horses" and the race betting. Found that a bit interesting when I came across that.

I'm so glad I decided to watch the second season with everyone, even though I didn't like it at first. I have already found so many new perspectives. What a lovely community! :) I liked the fact that the continuation of the games can be voted on, because it says something interesting about how in a democracy people often vote against their own interests. However, it also stops the flow of the story, so I'm a bit conflicted about it. I have a question. Last season the frontman talked about the equality of the game. Can anyone tell me why they let Gi-Hun in this season who has already played before? Isn't that against that very principle?

ajanim

from what i gathered, this whole round of games was just the frontman trying to prove a point about his worldview on people. gi-hun challenged him, and he accepted. that's why the rules were changed so that people could vote to leave after every game, to further drive home his point that they would just choose to stay anyway.

Clyde Bartels

welcome to the thanos world my brother! Lol yes! i agree in my opinion he is indeed carrying the whole show so far!

Thoronris

I personally enjoyed this season a bit more than the last. For one, the addition of the front man in the games brings such a charismatic actor into the spotlight - I could watch him stare at Gi-Hun forever. Furthermore, his challenge to Gi-Hun's world view makes for interesting conversations. I feel like season 1 was very focused on a few characters and whether they can make it out, while this season is more about group dynamics and the psychological aspects. Having everyone wear their vote choice on their clothes is definitely interesting. Also, I love so many of these characters so very much and nobody actually annoys me as much as some did last season.

2025-01-13 17:33:49 whyyyy wouldnt Ji-Hun suspect anything of a new number 1??? literally the last time you trusted a 001 it was Oh Il-Nam who started the games and traumatized him. this is also where i’m like argfffggg to Jun-ho because if he had been honest with Ji-hun about his brother maybe he could’ve shown him a picture?? or relay the message that there never was a number 001 before the first games Ji-hun competed in. like they said they were gonna share info but it seems like our good ol cop boy has left out veryyyy pertinent information

and!! he’s like one of four men from the show who doesn’t have an awful criminal past so big win for thanos

Maike_Staytiny

Tell that the Korean society😭😭bro is treated worse by Koreans for doing weed safely at home like four times than his mass r*pist ex band mate

Alicia Cue

omggg don’t even get me started on the absolute asinine shit i’ve heard trying to compare him to the likes of Lee Byung-Hun or Park Sung-hoon😭😭😭

we know the frontman has already won the games, when Jun-ho was going through the files of past games in S1, we saw In-ho had won, so him being the frontman to pay off debts wouldn’t make sense i don’t think. so my guess is that the story he told Gi-hun about his wife and needing the money were his true intentions for going the first time he entered the games. i do really wonder how he became the frontman though? maybe similarly to Gi-hun and his mother, when he got home maybe his wife had already passed, making the reason for even needing the money obsolete.

aleena

THIS!! this is my biggest gripe with this season omg. jun-ho was serving nothing to the plot when he absolutely could have

Alicia Cue

like he’s good for eye candy this season for sureee and i get he’s your brother but he’s also your brother who hasn’t spoken to you in years, shot you, AND is the murdering frontman and these death games like as a cop it’s crazy jun-ho couldn’t see that withholding that information was harming his investigation

Vilma

In the first episode of last season, it was revealed that the frontman was living very modestly (when his brother went looking for him). I wonder if he feels guilty (about his wife dying and not being able to help) and doesn't want to spend the money he won.

Rhetorical Thrill

I was so aggravated by them just assuming that the games would be the same and getting on Gi-hun's case when they weren't. OF COURSE there would be different games, are you dumb?
