June OneShot: An Angel's Training (Patreon)

As you can see, this OneShot ended up being quite experimental. Ever since I started the Oneshot, I have had in-mind the idea that, when appropriate, I may spread the OS over onto 2 pages, rather than just 1, if I felt that would be better for the framing of each individual panel. This OneShot idea in particular, was very easy and simple. Just 2 people, and in Manga Style too. So I saw it as an opportunity to experiment a little bit and really push that idea.
If you'll notice, nothing sexual has actually been added to the comic, beyond what would be in a regular OS. In every OneShot, there are 5 panels of sexual stuff. And within this comic, it's exactly the same, with there being 5 primary panels. But I've also added a bunch of extra, smaller ones to make the comic feel more like an actual comic with a little 'story' being told, rather than just a series of images. These extra panels, ultimately boil down to nothing more complicated than just a close-up of a face, or something like that. Nothing which really adds a bunch of extra content to the comic. But just adds that bit of pacing, and fleshing-out, which is lacking within a 5-panel OneShot.
This method does come with it's drawbacks though. for starters, it took a little longer than I was anticipating, if I am honest. And also I would be concerned long-term, about the possibility of people feeling disappointed / cheated if they just get a regular oneshot, after the possibility of longer ones like this is made prominent. So to be honest, I am not sure how often I will use this sort of format for OneShots, since I don't want to disappoint people who may be wanting something like this, only to instead receive a more regular one.
That being said, I do not regret making this, and am happy with how it turned out. Despite everything I just mentioned, the possibility of stuff like this for future OneShots (particularly the simple ones), is very much on the table. But I can't ever guarantee it. So never create ideas with that in mind. If it happens, it happens, but I can't promise anything in advance.
