The latest in this and that!

I am more that 1/2-way through the deployment to Kosovo with KFOR; in fact, I have less time remaining than I have already spent. They are being cagey with the dates, though, which is normal-- we're usually not told solid dates until we're really close to it, up until then we're given a general range.

Right now, our date range is "early June-ish" and sometime in there we are expected to be leaving Kosovo to go to Ft. Cavasos, Texas, and begin the demobilization process.

At some point in there (in April) I will take leave, so I will try to have some stuff ready to post during that time.

Meanwhile, I've got a lot of material to make a stand-alone "BOHICA Blues: KFOR" book for people who may balk at purchasing the whole series from the start of the Iraq War... which now over 20 years behind us. More and more, BOHICA Blues is becoming "historical" rather than "topical".
In a way, though, this urges me to get going on more of the Empires stuff, since a good science-fiction drama can stand on its own. Look for more of that developing here in the weeks to come.
