Resident Evil: Alone in the Dark (Patreon)

Seperated from Leon, Ashley find herself alone and nowhere to go. Her only option is to step further into the darkness. However, as all good bedtime stories tell; monsters lurk in the dark, preying on any and all who step within it's embrace.

Can finally get around to some proper feedback now. I’m over the moon with how the set came out to be honest. From start to finish it was a smooth process. Before this set I was kinda frustrated with myself as the Witcher set had to be cut back and the Half Life set was a real challenge to work on. So my past two sets have been tough to work on. This resulted in me doubting myself as an artist. So I was motivated to come out of the gates swinging with this one. 

At first the Verdugo was very awkward to pose with. Not due to any technical issues, but because of his body proportions. Even though he’s a big chap, he’s all leg. So his body is relatively small compared to the rest of him. This made some poses tricky to do as there would be a lot of clipping or things not looking right. But with the use of some creative camera angles, I was able to circumvent this hindrance rather elegantly. Ideally I wanted to do more poses with him and Ashley, but I took half of her poses and used them during the Ada section so that I wasn’t repeating myself. 

I was really happy with how the start came out with Ashley. I was trying to get the same look as the section in the game and I feel like I captured the vibe really well with Ashley creeping through the dark library. I really wanted to sell the fear she was feeling and, through her expressions, I hope that came across well. 

But the Ada section came out better than I expected. At first I wasn’t going to have her in it, but I wanted to try the new Ada model that has been updated. Plus people have been begging me for some smut with her, so I wanted to give the people what they wanted. What was initially going to be a small bonus section, ballooned into a set in and of itself. Rigid’s models are always a breeze to work with so I was able to crank out some really hot poses with Ada. 

Finally, in terms of time spent on this set, it’s been one of my quickest. I spent around 11 or 12 days working on it. So with it being 118 images long, I was doing over 10 a day which is just fantastic as I didn't sacrifice quality for quantity. 

With more RE4 creatures available now (there’s 3 that I’ve used and a few more I haven’t tested yet), I will be doing more RE4 sets in the future. 

But that’s just my thoughts. Hopefully you guys enjoy the set as much as I did making it. Feel free to share any and all thoughts you’ve got.
