I've been saying for a while subjective reality is more important than "objective truth". We all are bias and engage in conformation bias, we all have cognitive dissonance, we all spew logical fallacies. Sometimes even intentionally. Our subjective realities have become our objective truths. All of us don't even know ourselfs and identity is fluid, ever-changing by so many external forces. So how much stock do I put into others certainty about the world and themselves? Not much. Hell, maybe that "not much" was some cognitive dissonance on display. self-awareness is limited and being meta-aware is a daunting and taxing task for our caloric needy brains. Meta-awareness is being aware of the gaps in our self-awareness, almost as impossible as seeing a new color you never have. How do we know what we are not aware of? Simply you don't. So perhaps is best to learn the need to not know everything.

God is dead, there for, it is up to us to erect new pillars of morality. Trump, just like most politicians, is an scapegoat. Meant to distract us. As we fight upon ourselves, the merchants that pay our new priest pillage and salt our lands. Instead of filling the void of god with "false idols" that simply divide us, we need to come together in small pockets of "worship" that give us not just community, but meaning. Or, you know... You could roll over let the Amish take over in 100-200 years.

Let’s all acknowledge that one of the main reasons the religious right loves Trump and Elon Musk so much is because they believe being wealthy is an indicator of your worth and virtue as a human. No different from peasants worshipping their feudal lords because they’re rich. Truly pathetic cuck mentality.

Maybe I’m just bitter cause I was just with MAGA family members for a few days but I see Trump as a legitimate source of social destruction rather than a mere scapegoat. Even my atheist aunt thinks he’s the savior of this country and anyone that stands against him is “crime loving/communist/america hating/mooching/pedo.”
