Maybe it was Bad Buddy that you watched a while ago? Excited about My School President! It’s a really good one! Memorable because of the music and actors. This was a break through performance for the main actors, Gemini and Fourth, who are still a well known favorite BL couple from the BL company GMMTV today. They have starred in other series since, including the Thai version of My Love Mix Up. and they have a new series coming out in 2025 called Ticket to Heaven that looks incredible. Maybe if you like them in My School President, you can check it out! Thai BLs are great!

A few notes! First, the audiance was booing because it was a Thai folk music competition (think Korean Trot music) but the song they played is a famous rock song in Thailand and it started out similar to how the original goes so they thought they were trying to play a rock song at this folk music competition but turns out the boys remixed it to be a folk/trot version~ Second, every actor that sings in this series is actually singing in real life as well and the guys in Chinzilla can all play the instruments they play in the series in real life as well! They actually performed the songs from the show live at fan meets after the show aired~ Gemini's character Tinn doesn't really do the music thing in the show but in real life Gemini can sing really well and play a few different instruments too!

Yeah when you come from Korean Bl’s it’s kinda hard to get used to the humor of Thai bl’s but once you separate them from each other you realize how charming Thai bl’s are because of their humor and other quirks

Oh the two main characters, Tinn (Gemini) and Gun (Fourth) are real life singers/artists and have their own songs + couple songs too. They’re the most famous couple from their company (GMMTV, which is arguably the biggest production company in Thailand). They’re both 20 years now and have changed physically so much (they’re really hot now!) and have has their own concerts for two years in a row now. They debuted from “my school president”, although they filmed “moonlight chicken” before this. They’re the secondary couple in “moonlight chicken” which won so many awards and brought them to the limelight. Gemini and Fourth also had another series which was released this year called “my love mix up” which is the Thai version of the famous manga. They will have two individual series during 2025/26 but they also have a couple series called “ticket to heaven” which might be released next year in the second half, I’m not really sure. Please, if you can, react to “ticket to heaven” trailer because it’s so phenomenal. I would like it if you checked out their individual and couple songs because these two are really really talented as musicians. They’re also comedians lmao. Oh also, like most of the comments here said, the songs in this series are really sung by them. Gemini can sing, play piano, drums, guitar, bass and so many other instruments as well as Fourth can sing and play guitar. They’re also fabulous dancers and have stage presence like no other. Like I said earlier, they had their own concerts too; in 2023 “GeminiFourth My Turn Concert” and in 2024 “GeminiFourth Run The World Concert” where they outsold all seats since they were only scheduled to perform one day and ended up performing on two days because of demand. They’re THAT talented. Thank you so much for reacting to this and I hope you will fall in love with them just as I did 💗

It's been a while since I watched this and I'm remembering why it was one of my favourite shows when it aired. It's just so fun and a bit silly but it just keeps getting better as you go. Thai bls can at times be a bit formulaic but there are some really good ones too and this is a gem for me. Sometimes it's just so nice to have a whole show that is like a teen rom com but same sex. And yeah they all play the music, I think the cast were mostly selected through a kind of survival show. Looking forward to the next eps, it was really fun rewatching with you. -- oh also, you might recognise Gun (Forth) from the Tommy Hilfiger show pictures with Felix and Lee Know if you followed that, they met there.

with Thai show you have to be prepared for sounds effect and products placement, but you will get used to it in no time ! we have so much diversity with Thai bl since its really a big industry here (we can have the classic school setting, mafia, fantasy, more adult, period drama etc so its really fun compared to other country where it's more limited and we only get school/university bl). Glad your reacting to msp as it's a well loved show, it's a feel good and funny bl with good music ! (the show you mentioned earlier was probably bad buddy)

This is a cute show. It iS campy but so fun… but there are also some good themes on family and acceptance. I’m Thai (but born in USA) so it’s fun to see y’all’s take on Thai humor 😂

I was soooo happy when I saw this pop up on Youtube!! I've been following your SKZ journey and love your vibe, so when I saw that you're reacting to my favorite BL of all time, I just knew I had to watch! I've been watching BLs for probably like 7 years now, and this one is by far my #1!!! Fourth (Gun) and Gemini (Tinn) are amazing actors and singers (and performers) so they just blow it out of the park! And the whole ensemble of cast/characters are just amazing, as well! And yes, anytime someone sings in this show, it is actually them singing! As I kinda mentioned before, Fourth and Gemini are professional singers now (at the time of filming this they were both 17/18 and just getting started in their careers basically; this show was their big breakthrough along with another that they filmed before but aired around the same time, Moonlight Chicken, where they are the side couple) with very successful singing careers and huge concerts. Ford (the keyboardist in Chinzhilla) also has recorded quite a few OSTs, I believe. Also, all the cast for the members of Chinzhilla actually did learn at least the basics of the instruments they play so it could look believable. I'm talking way too much (I hyperfixated on this show for like 6 months straight and GeminiFourth are my favorite Thai actors/singers ever so I know way too much about their shows in general), but let me just end this with I hope you will enjoy! This show is so much fun!!!

I'm so glad you're checking this out! This show is such a comfort show for me, it's so sweet and goofy I love it. Thai bls can be quite goofy and campy with their humor which can be a bit jarring but I personally find it really charming so i really enjoy this series. It's a great balance of humor and genuine moments

Another small note to add here for “my school president”, overall it looks silly and campy and you expect it to be cringy but the way the entire cast is so adorable, you can’t help but laugh and love them. They’re all similar in age and are in their late teens (the two main characters) or early twenties so it doesn’t look weird. The episodes keep getting better each time until you’re just crying, screaming, throwing up with love because you get that attached to them. This is unlike any other BL I’ve ever watched because this made me so so emotional over various things. Honestly, once you start to love TinnGun, it will be impossible to forget them. If you have expectations for them, keep them and don’t lower them because this series will meet those expectations AND exceed them. Everyone expects this to be another mid-acting high school BL that will lose its touch midway but man, were they all stumped. This series made everyone speechless with the amazing acting, amazing chemistry (TinnGun has hands down THE BEST chemistry I’ve ever seen between two romantic leads) among the entire cast too and not just the lead actors, the best soundtrack (the vocals of these boys are SO amazing. They literally ate and left no crumbs), a really beautiful plot, a really really beautiful love story, and they even addressed small issues too. I can’t stop gushing about Tinn and Gun’s chemistry, cuz honestly, even till date, Gemini and Fourth have show-stopping, ASTRONOMICAL chemistry. No, I’m not emphasizing. Anyway, I hope you get to read these comments before reacting to the rest of the episodes cuz everyone who commented gave additional information about the cast. 💗

I saw your cut version on youtube so I just had to watch the full reaction since this show is my comfort show. I think I've watched it like at least 32 times in counting.
