I hope y'all like this one. It's definitely different.

I can finally say that this is Oscar Isaac’s third Marvel role. Before this he portrayed Apocalypse and voiced Miguel O’Hara in the post-credit scene for Into The Spider-Verse. Looking back, Oscar said he enjoyed working on this show a lot more than he enjoyed portraying Apocalypse. In fact, this is the project he's most proud of so far. Oscar doesn't just portray Marc and Steven, but he's also an executive producer. When he heard the story would begin in London, he decided to put on two different accents so viewers would be able to tell them apart. He would go as far as staying in character with the British accent off-camera so he would be ready to portray Steven.

That’s right. He voiced Miguel in the Spider-Verse films. You can trust and believe he’ll be back for Beyond The Spider-Verse. And to help you guys understand a bit of what’s going on without spoiling, Marc and Steven suffer from dissociative identity disorder or DID for short. I’m only saying this because I’ve seen comments that have given it a different name it used to be known by which in the present has been deemed both inaccurate and disrespectful. By the way, Marc is Moon Knight. They don’t say it out loud in the show, but Steven is his own suit is known as Mr. Knight. It makes him look like a Kingsman Deadpool. (You should totally check out Kingsman: The Secret Service sometime. It was directed by Matthew Vaughn, the same guy who directed X-Men: First Class.)

Peter K

My favorite Marvel character, probably because I was still buying comic books when he arrived in the 80's, and I still have the original first run books. This version is a little different, from the early 2000s run I think, but Oscar Isaac nails this role, absolutely fantastic acting. He gets even better as the show progresses...and on another note, pay attention to how the camera works with reflections in this, it is brilliant.

Peter K

Interesting fact, since you are watching Stranger Things, the guy Arthur Harrow is Ethan Hawke. His daughter Maya Hawke will be in the next season of ST, and she is great!

Marvel's first hero with mental disorder. He is Marc Spector first....you will see down the line. Bring tissues for Ep. 5. Can't say why but it's heartbreaking. Marc has two or three personalities (stay tuned). the ending is a shocker. MoonKnight is a banger!!!!

Steven Jump

Moonknight doesn't really connect with other shows/movies in the MCU yet, No cameos that I can remember. I'm surprised you haven't caught on to Marc and Steven's situation. You must not have watched any soap operas before.

Christian

Moon Knight is one of my favorite Comic characters. real badass, hopefully the show can do it justice in the long term

Peter K

I expect to see him in an upcoming movie, with a few other darker bada$$es...

Oh Happy Day!

Phil Tilly

this is a damn good series, i enjoy the hell out of it. marc turns into moon knight, and steven turns into Mr knight. two different heroes in one person.

Emili

Moon Knight is one of my absolute favorite marvel heroes! And this show is fantastic! We should be seeing him more in future supernatural marvel projects coming up. Hope you love this show!!

Gio Bellisario

Can’t wait to get home would of gotten off early but volunteered for a double which I regret

Gio Bellisario

The opening song became one of my favorite songs then it became a trend on tiktok 💀

Gio Bellisario

Hands down one of my favorite characters and the show was so amazing and different gotta show yall my lil moon knight legos

Jim Schmitz

The Octobers go down the Egyptian rabbit-hole...how fun. And I concur: Oscar Isaac is a true GOAT.

Jack Ross

Yess I been waiting for this. This show got a lot of hate, which I never understood

Peter K

From where? I haven't seen any hate, most every review or reaction I've seen is pretty positive. MK was fairly unknown before this, and it seems new fans want more of him/them. ;-)

Jessica Houser

I can absolutely relate the judgment to Supernatural....my all time favorite show. That faith healer episode is way back in Season 1. I really found this show to be very interesting....it leaves alot to curiosity and thought. Honestly, I like all of the MCU shows...whether they connect or not.... each is a new story. Thank you for the reaction! As always!

ShittyShittyGameGang

If yall like Ethan Hawke, ya gotta check out Sinister, The Black Phone, & The Purge. Oh and you'll meet his real life daughter, Maya Hawke, in Stranger Things eventually!

DarrellWaller

If you look closely, when Steven goes to storage unit 43, there is a qrv code. scan it on your phone and it leads to a site where you can read Werewolf by Night #32 which is the first appearence of MoonKnight in the comics. MoonKnight is closely associated with the Werewolf (who you will meet in the Halloween Special)

SOLID recommended 👌 Kingsman is awesome they'd be into it.

Thadman

I'm pretty sure the sand around the bed is just to show him, in the morning, if he got up and walked and if so, which direction. He's got all these things (traps, sort of) for himself, to keep him from walking around and to show him if he did, like the sand and the tape on the door, etc.

Thadman

The show doesn't say it explicitly, but yes, in the comics, he is more (or less) powerful depending on the stage of the moon and is the most powerful on a full moon.

Ron Hubbard Jr

Steven Grant / Marc Spector are two personas of a man with dissociative identity disorder.

Jakey

End of Watch is a good movie
