Hell yeah, as I say the grandfather of the MCU. Not that he's part of the MCU, but his movie was a major success, without this we wouldn't have gotten like Spider-Man, Punisher and Ghost Rider movies.

Jason Rogue

Oh, Demolition Man is a big movie he's in, other than that, I cant think of another.

Gabriel DiLaurentis

If you wanna post stranger things next I would not hate it, I could definitely learn to live with it 😁😜 the ending of they episode made me sob when she confronts papa about who's the real monster. I could relate to some parts of it. Can't wait.

Gabriel DiLaurentis

Fucking love demolition man. Would also highly recommend To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar 1995 movie with Wesley and Patrick Swayze. A movie ahead of its time.

Ron Hubbard Jr

Blade, Deacon Frost, and Hannibal King (he's in Blade 3) all were in the Tomb of Dracula comic book series by Marvel Comics in the 1970s.

Ron Hubbard Jr

Another good movie with Wesley Snipes is US Marshals. But it is a sequel to The Fugitive (Harrison Ford) so be sure to watch that first.

DarrellWaller

2019 it was announcenced another Blade movie would come out with Mahershalla Ali as Blade. Ok...........................it's been almost 6 years now and they have gone through six writers and scrapped the script numerous times. There is a joke in a future movie coming soon that mentions this (can't spoil anything) If Marvel really is building towards a Midnight Sons movie, then Blade has to be a big part of that, along with Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange, maybe even MoonKnight, Werewolf by Night and Man-Thing, who knows what they have planned for the future!! On another note: Agatha is really really good so far and we are only on Ep. 2. Fingers crossed it is a banger.

Ron Hubbard Jr

This Blade movie/trilogy isn't in the MCU. The MCU didn't start until 2008 with Iron Man.

Jessica Houser

This is one of my favorite trilogies of all time. Not everyone agrees but theyre nostalgic for me. Shew I was married with a baby coming in 98. I remember I bought these movies on DVD when they came out and I watched them so much I had to buy them again. Maybe that's because I didn't have cable but whatever ya know?! I still really love the character Blade. Thanks for all the hard work you put in for these reactions! I love em everytime.

Bulletproof

If you haven't seen Wesley Snipes, you GOTTA do Demolition Man. It's not connected to anything or what not, but one day when you feel like doing something random, that's it. Has Sandra Bullock and Sylvester Stallone in it as well. Anytime it's on, I have to watch it. And oh my lord, that means you've never seen White Men Can't Jump!?!?!?! That is a must do as well with Mr October always talking smack about basketball things on movies. Like he can hoop. Haha. Wesley was in a ton of things, Major League, New Jack City off the top of my head.

Eddie

I’m down for Blade 2 & 3

Mack

Blade 2 is even better. The Lost Boys is a vamp movie cult classic. I think it would be good for October. My birthday is in October as well 🤙

I know you all do not react to a lot of animated series but Castlevania on Netflix is great adult animated show. Its not anime and I would love to see a you all react to that. Its only 32 20-25 minute episodes.

Blade was the reason the mcu exists marvel was going bankrupt and started selling their characters that’s why all these different companies owned different marvel characters/movies but Blade made them enough money to keep going then later on they was able to start the mcu with the characters that they still had I remember watching a documentary and the first Avengers movie was supposed to be bigger we were supposed to get Tobeys spider man and the X-men in it but the companies wasn’t playing nice, Marvel can do whatever they want now and finally introducing Blade in the mcu

Peter K

Go for it, the other two aren't as good as this one, but Wesley is always fun to watch. You got Werewolf by Night real soon, B&W please... it is a tribute old Universal horror movies, and they were all B&W. Matrix and this were about a year apart, BTW. Good vampire movie: Interview With a Vampire with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. There is a vampire series from HBO called True Blood, from a series of books about vamps and other supernatural things in Louisiana. Anna Pacquin (Rogue from X-Men) stars in it. You might want to check it out.

Love Blade! Would love to watch all 3!! Underworld would be my recommendation as far as another vampire franchise.

Kale

I enjoy Blade 2 the most out of the trilogy. Would be really cool if they explored other vampire movies or shows like the ones you suggested!

There was a "monster craze" going on in Marvel in the early and mid seventies. They had titles like, Tomb of Dracula, which introduced Blade, Frankenstien's Monster, The Living Mummy and some new characters like Werewolf by Night, Morbius the living vampire, Ghost Rider (who you must check out sometime this month) as well as Man-thing (you will meet him in Werewolf by Night). Man-Thing was originally just a swamp monster that capitalised on the Bigfoot craze across the country at the time, but Man-Thing was revealed to be a Nexus being and brought all kinds of weird characters into our reality, including Howard the Duck (you have to get around to doing that goofy ass HTD movie from 1986 ). Anyway, the monster titles were discontinued in the late seventies/early eighties, but Ghost Rider and Blade keep popping up and in the ninties, a kind of Renassaince of monsters came back in the form of the Midnight Sons. Blade is a big part of that and I think that is where part of the MCU is heading. Agatha all Along is keeping that horror theme going on over in her show too, so........ BTW, Please watch the B&W version of Werewolf by Night. It was shot in the spirit of the og 1940's monster movies and the color version just takes you out of that vibe. It has some cheesy moments, but overall, it is an EXCELLENT show. It fits the season and I think you guys will like it.

Echoes Of Malachor

Demolition Man and Blade are the most iconic Wesley Snipes movies. Other recognizable movies are White Men Can't Jump and Major League. And Whistler was played by Chris Kristofferson, one of the old school Highwaymen with Willie, Waylon and Johnny Cash

Jim Schmitz

The concept of Vampirism has existed for thousands of years and across every culture. Our current idea of the beings evolved from 18th century European traditions. As far as I know "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror" (1922) was the first appearance of one in film. And they've been a staple of cinema ever since. Loved your reaction to this, as it was my first time, too.

Jim Schmitz

Speaking of genre switching, I challenge you to react to "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar", with Wesley in a very different role and about as different a genre as you'll ever get.

Christian

Can't wait for the new nosferstu this year. Looks pretty scary

The guy had to either code it himself on a computer or pay someone with a computer. This movie is such a trip to watch I was 10 when I saw it theaters (my older uncle took what mama don't know wont hurt her just playing haha) This was so cool to me at the time Blade it really trippy to watch now because it kind of reminds of my younger days / and how crazy different things were pre 2001 watching it again now with you guys some parts are def. more cheesy than I remember and love the darkness of it and when Mrs. O screams. I don't know if you legit wanted to know Mr. 0 but yea no google play back then and computers in general were a new concept and just starting to be affordable enough for like "home use and semi affordable) that question reminded me i don't know if y'all heard the term "Y2K" i'll put a wiki description in the next comment this was a legit real concern I mean there wasn't panic in the street but it was big enough for me to know in the 6th/7th grade. such a tripppy blast to the past for me thank u guys

Alex Drey

The term year 2000 problem,[1] or simply Y2K, refers to potential computer errors related to the formatting and storage of calendar data for dates in and after the year 2000. Many programs represented four-digit years with only the final two digits, making the year 2000 indistinguishable from 1900. Computer systems' inability to distinguish dates correctly had the potential to bring down worldwide infrastructures for computer reliant industries. In the years leading up to the turn of the millennium, the public gradually became aware of the "Y2K scare", and individual companies predicted the global damage caused by the bug would require anything between $400 million and $600 billion to rectify.[2] A lack of clarity regarding the potential dangers of the bug led some to stock up on food, water, and firearms, purchase backup generators, and withdraw large sums of money in anticipation of a computer-induced apocalypse.[3] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2000_problem I remember being in the snow with like all my family about the celebrate 99 turning to 00 and I at least legit thought the city would lose electricity or something lol nah they were high on there own supply and nothing happened.

I'd recommend watching the Underworld movies. Best vampire/warewolf movies in my opinion.

Ron Hubbard Jr

If your introduction to vampires was the "Twilight" series, you really need to watch some movies with classic vampires. I recommend "Bram Stoker's Dracula", "Dracula Untold", "Fright Night" (the original from the 80s), and the first three UnderWorld movies.

Ron Hubbard Jr

You can't assume the "rules" for vampires (ie. turning back to human if the vampire that bit you dies) apply in every movie or show about them. They all have different rules & lore.

Louie

For more Wesley Snipes movies Demolition Man, New Jack City, White men cant jump & Passenger 57 are good ones
