The Conjuring Universe is the only truly scary modern horror films! They include the 3 Conjuring movies, 3 Annabelle movies, 2 The Nun movies and 1 La Llorona movie. Watch them in release order just like the MCU.

This is purely a one off, no sequels, a rare single movie in this genre without follow ups. It is a dark tale without a 'happy' ending, but it was a powerful end. No, V had no idea what would come next, but he knew the current situation needed to end. It is an interesting exploration of how propaganda can influence society, and also how too much of it leaves the population skeptical or even cynical about the purveyors of it. Tony, fascism usually latches on and utilizes religion to achieve their goals, and they also look for scapegoats, 'others' that are blamed for all the problems. As V said, look in the mirror, at least before you point fingers.

Yes The Conjuring is the first, then Annabelle, Conjuring 2, Annabelle Creation, The Nun, The Curse of La Llorona, Annabelle Comes Home, The Conjuring The Devil Made Me Do It , The Nun II. That is the release order. I think there's a Conjuring 4 coming out next year I think, but not sure.

just so you know,, in the UK, November 5th, guy fawkes day, or bonfire night, is bigger and more popular than Halloween. we have fireworks, light fires. its a strange tradition considering what we are celebrating, but its fun. every Brit knows it.

yea, mostly all sweet stuff, so its great for kids. plus as its a week after Halloween its kinda blended with that. soo, toffee apples, treacle toffee, candy floss which i think you call cotton candy. not sure what the america equivalent is tho.

Man, in 2005 I was in like pre-school. But I watched this like in 2009. Not sure if you noticed at the end there you see Evey's parents, Dietrich, Ruth and Valerie, and some others that were dead. Also DC and Marvel have quite a lot of non superhero IPs. Like Marvel has Men in Black, Star Wars, Alien and Predator, as well as Conan the Barbarian.

Watchmen(2009) the movie and Watchmen(2019) the TV show would be two projects to watch as a follow up to this. Alan Moore created both the V and the Watchmen comics so they have the same vibe of flipping superhero concepts on their head with political intrigue. Stories like these is where DC separates itself from Marvel. You should add Watchmen to your next superhero tv show poll.
