Hell yeah, I was just looking for something to listen to at work

Aaaahhh. I know what I am watching tonight!

I love getting to watch ya'll trying to figure everything out. Each episode focuses on a member of the family's perspective by age... Episode 1 is Steve, Episode 2 is Shirley, Episode 3 is Theo, Episode 4 Luke...and so on. Towards the end it all comes together. You'll be impressed once it clicks. This show is horror, yes, but it's really a story about a family and what they've gone through. I cannot say it enough....Mike Flanagan is so good. Hang in there...clarity is coming. I can relate to Luke so much. I've been in recovery since 2006 but my sister is still in active addiction. I see both sides of the coin. It's ok Mrs. O.....tears are appropriate with this episode. Such a difficult part of the story. Both episode 3 and 4 are hard to watch. Also....the "big pasta maker" was an old timey ringer washer. My grandmother used to have one. My Mom tried to feed my aunt's arm through the ringer when they were little...she thought she'd come out flat on the other side. Lol! (Anyway...just thought you'd like to know.) Thanks for the reaction as always! Love ya'll ❤️

It's funny yall said there ain't really been any ghosts and hopefully you don't feel this is spoiler but there's been ghosts in the background the whole time, I guess you guys just haven't noticed them

Hey girl, I love the Twilight movies actually. You can't go into em being too serious, they're just fun. The Luke episode hits so hard, so heartbreaking (I mean they all are but this one hits me a smidge harder). Dealing with addiction is so complicated, you can understand everyone's pov in this. Like speaking as someone with an addict in the family, its tough finding the balance of being supportive versus enabling. It's hard... and Luke having the twin thing happen. For sure Flanagan is a fan of Stephen King, he directed the sequel to The Shining, Doctor Sleep. And from watching that movie it's clear he appreciates both Stanley Kubrick's interpretation & Stephen King's actual source material. So I'm sure he uses that inspiration in his other work as well.

Big ❤️ for Mrs. O sending your way positive thoughts ❤️

To be fair first time watching it I also only saw one or two hide ghost 😂😂

Thanks! Yeah...I'm excited to see the next episodes too. It's going to be great! Love their reactions to everything.

I watch alot of reactions....I'm agoraphobic so I rarely leave my house and I keep them playing all day while I do everything I need to. It's definitely rare to find a reaction channel I don't skip videos on. I've never skipped a video with these 2....idk why but I enjoy their commentary on everything. Only 1 or 2 other channels I watch so closely.

The Haunting of Hill House (2018), The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020), Midnight Mass (2021),The Midnight Club (2022) and The Fall of the House of Usher (2023). That is the list of Flanagan's shows. In my opinion you should definitely check out Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Young Luke and Nell are the cutest kid actors I've ever seen. Stinkin' adorable.

Steven Jump

Stephen King did write a sequel to The Shining, called Doctor Sleep. It continues Danny Torrence's story. It's very good. The next series in this series is The Haunting of Bly Manor. Then it's Midnight Mass, The Midnight Club and The Fall of the House of Usher. I would love to see you guys react to Vampire's Suck. It parody's the Twilight movies.

thanks for sharing that Jessica! we are proud of you! Since 2006? That is great! thanks for always being so awesome and commenting we really appreciate you and also you too Josip :)

Thank you! I worked really hard to get sober....I was in a rehab for a year and then a halfway house for 8 months. I've been surrounded by addicts my whole life so I understand how heartbreaking it is...I'll say a prayer for your family member whose struggling. It's so hard to keep going in the beginning but it gets better, hopefully they'll find their way. My sister has always been my best friend but I got sober and she didn't. It's very difficult to watch. Also, i mean it when I say you guys are really great....I mean even 18 years sober I still have bad days, but not so many with ya'll around. Ya know, I'm sure you have fun and make money doing this but I just want ya'll to know you do have a positive impact in my life. I don't have many of those....so thank you. Love ya'll... always!❤️

Pay close attention to the Cinematography in Episode 6. It's incredibly impressive. You'll be able to count on one hand how many camera cuts they used. It took so much choreography and practice using rolling set pieces, walls etc. It really is a masterpiece.

To me the tall man represents Luke’s addiction, slowly creeping in on him at his worst moments, at the end it gets to him and if the headlights (Steve) didn’t show up on time to get his brother he maybe would’ve relapsed again.

Gio Bellisario

The girl who plays young Theo was the young version of carol in Captain Marvel and the girl who plays young Nelly plays young Yelena from Black. Marvel picked all the good Netflix kid actors 😮‍💨

Jared M

Great episodes! Not a spoiler, but when you get to episode 6, the one-take shot that opens the episode. It’s massively impressive.
