Thanks, Tony! Thanks, Brooke! 🦸 I love the first two of these with Christopher Reeves. The others don't resonate with me, really. My mother and I met the actor who played 'Lois Lane', Margot Kidder, when she was making a made-for-cable mini-series LOUISIANE (1984), that's the French spelling of the state I grew up in. Ms. Kidder was sweet and shy.

I've watched your reactions for a while, and i've always felt like there was something missing...... now I know what was missing.... penis humor🤣🤣🤣 that was the missing ingredient, and now this has become a perfect reaction channel🤣🤣🤣

This brings a smile to my face..and Superman would molly whop Homelander lol…as far as marvel comparisons go Batman is Ironman, and Superman is Captain America with the powers of of Captain marvel on steroids.

Love this reaction! There’s been a bunch of different superman over the years, but this was the first and most iconic to the big screen with Christopher Reeve. 1&2 were great, maybe skip 3&4? They’re entertaining either way, but largely pretty poor as the story goes. Then you have 2014 or 2013 man of steel with Henry Cavill and that was a different telling of it, but it was a pretty great movie and now James Gunn is responding the entire DC universe with a new Superman coming in July BUT!! The absolute best Superman to ever hit TV in my opinion ever or the four seasons of Superman and Lois that just ended this year. Like Smallville largely told a story of Superman growing up before he was Superman and there wasn’t much ever told about it, on the screen Superman and Lois is the same because it focuses on him after he’s been Superman for 20 years and they’re married and have kids and it is a fantastic series and if you want to see the best telling of just how powerful he is and all of the things he can do that series is unbelievableand the only reason it went away is because James gun canceled everything to keep continuity in this new DC universe, he was rebooting BTW, the 10 seasons of Smallville were epic as well!

Between this, Star Wars, ET, Jaws, Jurassic Park, and Harry Potter... John Williams wrote the soundtrack to my childhood thru early adulthood.

I was in high school when I saw this in the theater, and that was the year Star Wars came out too. Between those two movies I knew movies would never be the same, they really did change everything. This movie gave such a good, concise telling of his origin, and it didn't take itself too seriously, making it much lighter than current comic book movies. Please stay away from 3&4, the second is a must, as it was set up in this one, it was always a 2 part story.

The next one is Superman II, but there are two versions that are very different. They shot Superman 1 & 2 together, but Richard Donner who directed them and the producers had a falling out. He was fired and a new director made extensive reshoots and it's the version that was in theaters. I'd watch them both. Then there was Superman III which isn't very good. Then the last one starring Christopher Reeve was Superman IV The Quest For Peace. It was based on his idea and timely with the late 80's. Then in 2006 was Superman Returns and is a direct sequel to the Reeves films. Brandon Routh played Superman. Some didn't like it but I loved it. It's directed by Bryan Singer who directed several of the X-Men movies. The 1960's Batman movie and tv show were very colorful and campy, but remembered fondly by most people.

Jim Schmitz

Being the first cinematic version of the character, they popped in some easter egg nods to the old 50's TV series. Early on, when the kid on the train sees young Superman running, the mom was the actress who played Lois Lane. When Clark goes to the public phone to change outfits, it's a tongue-in-cheek reference to the old phone booths he used. (Tony caught that). Loved seeing it again through Brony eyes.

The walking dead season 2 finale isn’t episode 10 but 13.

Superman and Superman II are direct, back to back movies and definitely worth a watch. Things go off the rails in 3 and 4, and wouldn’t necessarily recommend them. But wow, I’d forgotten what a blast this one is, and 2 *might* be even better because it deals with something from the past coming back to haunt supe, much like Mrs October predicts. Definitely. Love you and Hapoy New Year!

Loki S2 AND FINALLY, Daredevil 2003??? Finally I have something good to watch coming up. Sooooo glad you listened to us and are going to watch DD because you are getting very close to Deadpool and Wolverine. (can't tell you how or if it ties in)

chris z

nobody has any powers on Krypton, Superman has powers cos he is on earth, which. has a different atmosphere etc. great film, 1st superhero film i saw as a kid, so superman will always be my fave. only problem is he is elite, so no villain can defeat him.

Chris torres

I’m surprised no one has requested Cobra Kai. It would be an awesome series to watch with the Octobers

Ony Ibe

Now I can’t wait for Man of Steel and the DCEU

jenna marie

I spit out my drink when Tony called it the Fortitude of Sollice . lol

Great reaction guys. Be pritty cool if you follow this up with the dark universe origin version of Superman by reacting to Brightburn 2019, just be warned it's a Horror/Sci-fi rated 18.
